Thanks a lot for sharing. I love Uyghur cuisine, not so much the meat (I prefer it without meat), but the spices (like cumin), the generous amounts of chili and the handmade noodles. Their land is called East Turkistan, and it was occupied by China in 1949. East Turkistan was renamed "Xinjiang" by the Chinese Republic in 1955, which directly translates to "New Territory." Thx for the video tho, I hope people learned something about the Uyghur culture today.
There is a Uyghur restaurant here in Alhambra CA called Dolan's that I just found out about. This video helped me to know what I will want to taste when I finally get to visit. Definitely going for the Polo ! Cheers!
