about 6 months ago i went through my whole makeup collection and sold about 85% of what i had, i had a little bit regret after but then i realize how good it feels to actually just have makeup i use! my husband didnt understand it,but after i explained it to him he gets it. i felt so over whelmed with everything and now its just so simple!
How do you go about selling your makeup? I'm assuming at least half of it had to have been used already.
yea i spent almost 2 hours disinfecting everything to a t then i went on my local selling site and posted it for sell and it sold within minutes.
+Mallory Hall what do you use to disinfect your makeup. ... just curious
i use alcohol q-tips and cotton balls. just be very careful wiping down lipstick so it doesnt break Anabel Subia

I love how blunt and to the point you are with your declutters. I feel like many people decide to keep so many, but you're just like "I don't reach for it." I feel like donating to friends/selling the ones you don't reach for allows them to find a home and not just be stuck in a drawer. Your videos want me to go through my own collection and purge a little (I don't have an obnoxious amount, but still some products I own are neglected and might be better off with someone else). Thanks & can't wait for more declutter videos!

it's so nice to see a you tuber not hoarding their makeup. when I see collection videos I wonder how much is actually being used and what is just sitting there. I know we LOVE our makeup and it's oh so pretty but it can be borderline wasteful

I was in a mac store recently and wanted to see what the hype was so I swatched it. I honestly find it kinda chunky, just not very smooth. I love the highlighters I have way more. I don't feel like I'm missing out at all.

Yeah I get that she gets rid of the ones she doesn't like or doesn't use, but sometimes she declutters products that she actually likes/loves and that makes me cringe a bit :/
It makes me cringe a little too, but if it's similar to another one that she loves more, it's nice to pass some along to others that might use it more than she does. :)
But she's still not going to use all of them up, so it's a waste to keep them

Hi Jessica! You may have heard this before but i think you shouldn't blow on products, i get that it's meant to blow off excess powder and what not but it gets bacteria from your mouth onto the product, which i guess isnt really a big deal if youre just using them on yourself but if you're giving them to other people it's a little unsanitary :/

Your blush video encouraged me to go through my makeup yesterday. I don't have an extensive collection but I have discovered a love for makeup I didn't realize I had in the last year. So, I had bought some things in that discovery that weren't right for me. I got rid of a decent amount and will be letting my friends go through it once I disinfect it. I also found some broken and dried out products that went out as well. Thanks for the inspiration. 💟
Lush has a cream highlighter in a little pot and it is SO illuminating. I mix it with liquid foundation and then I also add some on my cheekbone. so glowy ✨✨
I find myself checking back every day to see if the next one's up yet 😄

Great Job Jessica! I like your decluttering videos. I personally don't buy a lot of make up, and I don't wear make up on daily basis. But, I want to get some good ones for special occasions / events that I want to wear make up. Because I'm not into buying make up, it's important for more to get the right ones. These decluttering videos give me an idea which make up items win during the time of decluttering, or in other words, worth staying in a drawer. Thank you for sharing!

I bought the Wet n Wild Reserve Your Cabana because of you and I love it! I like subtle highlights, too, and hat highlight is just right for me. So thank you lol
Tip if you get a hard candy highlighter that is chalky scrape off the top trust me it works

Thanks for the info!! I love declutters, kind of like a favorites video, but just one product! I've been trying to up my highlighter game, but with my aging skin I sometimes feel self conscious about the texture it can emphasize. I have the WNW Reserve your Cabana and the Hard Candy Tiki. I want to get more to try (subtle ones) so I may have to splurge for some hourglass, or hunt down the elf dupe.

yeah for the tiki highlighter for some reason they repackaged it for a little bit and then changed it back in when they repackage the new packaging which they don't have anymore it was a dud because it was still talking and it didn't have any pigment and I was so sad but I bought a new one and it works so great thanks to you
That MAC one is gorgeous! I have the catwalk by WnW and a couple Temptu, I think it's called. They're samples from Ipsy. Think they are best in an airbrush machine. tfs..always love your videos.

I just got rid of my MAC soft and Gentle too. I find that it's too glittery for my liking and I prefer a more subtle highlight too which is why you NEED my holy grail Laura Mercier Matte Radiance powder in HighLight 01. Game changer. It's all I use. I also got rid of the MAC one because I got a huge package from Becca as a kind of apology for the Jaclyn Hill eyeshadow palette, which was beyond sweet, and they sent me Opal in every type of Shimmering skin perfector they make (pressed powder, poured and liquid - among a bunch of other stuff - blushes, the backlight primer, concealer, a brush etc) and it does look similar to Soft and Gentle! Are you gonna try any of the CoverFx enhancing drops?? I'm curious but not sold yet.

I'm sitting here thinking, as a beauty youtuber I can't believe how many awesome and amazing highlighters that are out there that you *don't* have yet and need! Anastasia Glow Kit in That Glow, Laura Geller in Gilded Honey, Laura Mercier in 01 and my fave list goes on. Haha, sorry, guess that's not helping. ;D For the Hourglass powders, do you use them as highlights? Or to brighten under the eyes? Or all over the face?
