True story…At the time I DIDNT KNOW I WAS BORN INTO A GROUP HOME PRISON MINISTRY. MY FATHER IS A PASTOR AND WHEN I WAS BORN MY FIRST HOME WAS A PRISON GROUP HOME BECAUSE HE SERVED THERE. Years later he now runs 2 homes men’s and woman’s in Medford Oregon helping the lost get clean and turn their lives to Christ. In many ways for me, showings His plan is bigger than ours and through obedience, He will use anybody to get His job done. All glory to Him🙌🏼

Greetings from El Salvador, I grew up in the Harppys neighborhood and even claimed Dead End as a kid at Vermont Elementary, we fought some other little kids from Drifters and Rockwood, Hanged out with Toy's brother Gerardo and some other buddy named Vince, we had fun as kids it was all fun and games when you are 7-12 years old. Moms took us out of the area right when crack was hitting, and back into another hood...Langdon St in San Fernando..products of our environment for sure ...Lost many friends to gang violence and lucky to be alive at 46 in El Salvador I had to deal with the gangs here also.... your chicano stories would be good if we can translate to spanish for the raza in Central America........Thank you for sharing your story... blessings and great show ..too, very Pro

I used to drive through Harpys Neighborhood on my way to the Sherm Spot on Adams and Maple [Ghetto Boys] , and they were always out there Gang Banging HARD..This was in the late 80’s and early 90’s though and you don’t see Gangsters out there as much, but you know they’re still there..And Meth probably has something to do with that, and Cell Phones too.
