How Formal are MSC? Plus we visit YACHT CLUB on MSC PREZIOSA - DAY 4 VLOG!

- During day 4 of our MSC Preziosa Northern Europe Cruise it was a Sea Day, a Formal Night and we also were invited to experince MSC's Yacht Club. The weather was a little rough and you could feel the movement of the ship. We used the day to explore MSC Preziosa and take part in the entertainment and shops onboard. We were also invited to an MSC Voyagers Club welcome back drinks. During the evening we were treated to some entertainment in Yacht Club and it was a Formal Night.

MSC Preziosa is a Fantasia-class cruise ship owned and operated by MSC Cruises. She entered service in March 2013. The ship has a variety of entertainment menus, bars and restaurants situated over 18 decks. We have compiled this full ship tour and have been given exclusive access to MSC's Premium experience Yacht Club!
We took a cruise on MSC Preziosa in October 2022 out of Ocean Terminal in Southampton. This was our second MSC cruise. During the cruise we visited ports in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and France over 7 nights.

We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked.
Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. We look at the types of food that is available onboard, from main dining rooms, room service, buffets and pool side snacks. We include menus for each of cruises so that we can share the selection of drinks and meals that are available. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port. We often explore ports independently but also book excursions that are interesting to us.
We have created a list of our cruise essentials. These are items we take with us when we travel and we hope they may be useful to you. We have also added a Wine list which contains some of the wines we have tried whilst cruising.

Excellent blog. Re-food I had the T-bone steak the week before on Peziosa when I travelled on her, which appears to be an item always available on the menu. I ordered it medium rare but it was served rare ... I still ate it- delicious and worth the surcharge. Good to see parts of the Yacht Club. You showed several cabins interior colours. The colour of my Aurea cabin was red - not a colour I would choose - too intense.I thought the buffet food the week before was outstanding - so much variety. I even had roll mop herrings twice which I have never seen on P and O, Cunard or Princess. Cheers. Renato

Very nice.... For such a large ship, it never appeared crowded. Did it feel just right or a little too quiet for your tastes? As nice as the Yacht Club level feels, those prices are $$$$$. Nice if you can secure an upgrade for a nominal up-charge. Look forward to your next installment as I traded my winter P&O cruise for a week + 1/2 in Rotterdam.
Hi Chris 😀 on this night it was too quiet and it didn’t really like the venues had much atmosphere. Yacht club is an amazing experience but you are quite right the prices are very expensive! We really enjoyed Rotterdam, such a beautiful city! You will have a great time 😀
