    Endlich jemand, der schlimmeres Werkstatt hat als ich selbst (im Wohnraum).

    As a tempo owner , this frame ... no way , its wierd in many levels , first , that bottom bracket area , and the chain route ...

      I have owned the previous Supreme which already was a very fast bike. The new V5 feels again a bit faster than the old one. So… I think form follows function I guess. Also getting to the top of the podiums in the World Cup shows the capability of the bike.
      But… I see your point it looks not like an usual frame. And for this point, I really love the, in a kind of way, brutal design.

      @@DaveW_Productions for my opinion I agree that frame is fast and maybe suspension is good but it became very sporty inverter, for a weekend race and then servicing all the parts. I want to say that frame and how it is engineered looks like you need a team and not like a consumer thing.

      @@game_mtb After just one Bikepark day this year I can’t say much about the service intervals. I will let you know after getting a few intense Bikepark days in.

    Don't use grease for pf bbs. Use a low or medium strength retaining compound like loctite blue or green, or park tools pf bb specific retaining compound

      Good advice, thanks. I will soon get a new crankset and with that comes a new bb. Then I will use loctite.

    Sorry but i don't understand...this frame has the vpp and horst pivot??

    • @richardcarter8801
      @richardcarter8801 Před 2 měsíci

      It's a 6-bar linkage. The black link just behind the seat tube connects the two short rocker links and constrains the relative motion of the two, like the rear triangle of a VPP. The rear axle is connected to different points on the short rocker links, thus a further [horst] pivot is required on the chainstay or seatstay, otherwise the rear triangle will fight the movement of the short rocker links.
      This is typically used over a 4-bar with short links (e.g. VPP) to increase the angular frequency of one link compared to the other, for the purpose of changing leverage ratio, anti-rise, axle path etc.

    Wie schwer fühlt sich das bike beim fahren? Die 18 kg machen mir schon bissl sorgen, ob ich es mir auch holen soll

    • @DaveW_Productions
      @DaveW_Productions  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Ich persönlich finde das Bike nicht zu schwer. Kommt aber auch darauf an was du hauptsächlich fährst. Auf schnellen downhills und jumplines fühlt sich das bike richtig wohl. Für Flow strecken ist es dann doch eher träge wenn man nicht aktiv fährt.
      Das ist aber auch stark abhängig vom Fahrwerk. Mit straffem Fahrwerk hast du ein sehr poppiges und agiles bike. Mit eher weicherem Fahrwerk ein Bike das alles wegbügelt.
      Im Vergleich zum alten Supreme V4 ist es auf jeden Fall verspielter, obwohl es auf dem Papier einen halben Kilo schwerer ist.

    open BB it looks as a terrible solution, all water after washing will be inside BB bearings

      It may not be your dream, but it’s mine ;)
      Also giving the fact, that the frame alone costs the same amount as a full bike from other companies, I consider it a dream for most people.
