As a fan of (Most of) Yuuka's existence in the Touhou series, I hated the original Gensokyo, Past and Present. Quite honestly, it sounded like earrape. It does not take much to make a better version in my eyes.
That being said, this one is arguably the best remix/arrange of the song I've heard thus far, and I've heard over a dozen good contenders.
