I was looking to get a micro-Brand to add to my collection and I stumbled across the Mido Tribute at a great price. Loved the look and pulled the trigger
I have the same watch but in blue. The weight clasp movement and bracelet are amazing at the price point. To me it feels like a Swiss reliable watch with a bit of Italian flair. I own about 20 watches but I guess this is my favorite
I'm guessing it's a design choice. TBH though I don't get it either. I've flipped this watch but would recommend you check one out. I'd recommend going used as the brand depreciates significantly on secondary market.

Great Watch. I Flipped mine but enjoyed it.
Very nice pickup, congratulations Mike!
You had me at "hello from Tennessee". Hello from Tennessee (Memphis) as well!
Nice watch, amazing bracelet.
Thanks Jim.
Congrats Mike, nice pickup.

Yes. Nice watch. I actually just flipped it. I do enjoy my time with it though.
That is a really, really great looking watch that is totally ruined by the 21mm lug width. No idea why watch companies do this. Utterly pointless.

It's really too bad they went to the powermatic 80, the low beat rate is not worth the increased power reserve.
Valid point. I actually flipped this last week. Glad I owned it but just couldn’t make it to keeper status.
