I just learned from Miss Lippy . She said that when you clean out the container, you should throw some diatomaceous earth in there to kill the bugs that are in the soil.
Such a challenge this year 😢 and pests seem to just be getting worse. For me it’s the flying kind so far, fungus gnats, carrot fly and flea beetle oh right leaf miner 🤬🤬. But we soldier on as we don’t know any better 😂. But your eggplants look fantastic so win there 👍. Hope everything starts to get the upper hand Ms Ursula, have an amazing week, Ali 🥵🇨🇦

Hey Mrs Ursula hope you’re feeling better giving you an update on my garden. I’ll have some carrots, cucumbers to harvest. My strawberry plants are blooming so looking good so far
I do the same thing trim my leaves off of my cucumbers and some of the bell peppers because sometimes if the bees don’t find those flowers, I can’t pollinate them

I just started a few new seeds but popping them in Direct so I have some tomatoes that are coming up. I even have some more peppers coming up and I popped a bunch of cucumbers, different kind but after that really I’m gonna take a break for a couple of weeks, I need a harvest, my fingerling potatoes and I’m gonna start again toward the end of July early August.
Hey @deltorres2100, sounds like you have a lot of new plants coming up, sounds great. I have taken a break from planting new plants but gearing up to start some fall plants maybe early August. It's just too hot, I barely get out to water. I bet those fingerling potatoes will be great, enjoy your evening.

Hey @meb4142, my only suggestion is to harvest it early. Mines are bitter if I leave them on too long and they get too big or start to turn yellow. Hope this helps, enjoy your evening.
