This is exactly what I wanted to do, but can not due to the weight limits on the Traction Plus. So, I'm going to keep my V3/ Traction plus combo for now and build a second 6" actuator Dbox setup.

Hey, I finally have my two motion plus units set up on my traction plus platform (5DOF). We have pretty much the same setup except I'm using the GT-Track rig( I can't just yet justify a profile rig). There is a section in the platform manager software where you can share settings via the HEX code. Would you be willing to share a few of your settings I could try out for games like (Automobolista 2, Asseto Corsa, MS Flight Simualator 2020) ? Default settings seem too much, and I'm looking for a baseline I can start with. Thanks.
Figure I would ask how are all your motion units holding up?? How many work hours do you have on them? Really just wanting to know your long term thoughts on the motion plus and traction loss. Also slick looking rig my fellow enthusiasts! Hoping to hear from you.

Isnt the M.P.V3 annoying, when the distance between the steering wheel + pedals and yourself always differs at each corner?
I would go for the two Motion Plus units front and rear.

How much do you weigh? Some guy is saying you can’t do two motion plus systems if you weigh more than 150
That's a very expensive setup and your power bills must be huge lol. I'm thinking of the Motion Plus for the rear but I already have a Motion V3.
If u get Motion plus I suggest u install it in the front since u have V3 at the rear already.
How much better is this setup compared to v3 and motion plus combined ? It looks cool. Would you say the traction plus is fast enough in reaction time for road racing ?
@@bartkee the current setup is closer to the real life experience compared to the V3. Traction plus is fast enough as long as u stay within the maximum weight threshold of 250Kg for the whole setup plus driver.
@@aauda Very very helpful comment. I have Traction + V3 and found your video very interresting. However I am curious about the math. The V3 is 45 kg, The Alu rig + Seat + DD wheel is another approx 50-60 Kg and the Motion Plus are 22 Kg each. Doesnt that leave about 130-140 Kg for the driver?
It depends on your Aluminium rig specific weight. According to NLR support the payload for the traction plus is 235Kg (not 250Kg to correct my previous comment) and that leave 57Kg to the driver with the V3 and 85Kg without the V3 according to their calculation for my specific setup. Consider the weight of the pedals and shifters, dashboard, button boxes,…
I have the V3 Seat Mover....I was looking into getting this as well...I see that you have removed the V3,why? Does it not work as well with the V3? Or is the Motion Plus worth it alone and then sell the V3 Seat mover?
Thank you for your comment. I removed the V3 as I added the traction plus beneath the Motion plus two units. There is a maximum weight allowed for the Traction plus of 250Kgm. I had to remove the V3 in such setup to reduce weight also as it would have added further height to the setup relative to the monitors.
@@aauda I already own Traction plus + V3 and I guess my main concern is that added height releative to the monitors. If I were to solve this issue, would you then recommend adding just a single Motion Plus to the front and leave the V3 in the rear, or just ditch the V3 all together? I have had the V3 for many years so I have grown accustomed to how it works, but I am not sure if it's best of both worlds with Motion + front and v3 Rear.
Hello, I did use two Motion + units along with the V3 in my previous setup and it was excellent. You get 3DOF compared to only 2DOF with one motion+ and V3. The height is not an issue then with proper monitor height adjustment.
@@aauda Thank you so much for your response to both comments.I personally like the way the v3 adds the sense of gforce on my body, as fake as it might be I have really gotten used to it after 3+ years with the v3. Also I like that I already own a v3 in terms of cost.
My final question is, "how much better" would you say
A - Traction Plus
+ Motion Plus Front
+ Motion Plus Rear
is than
B - Traction Plus
+ Motion Plus front
+ V3 rear
Is it a clear win to the A package or almost equal? or did you never cosinder this combo. Do you miss the V3 or feel like that with 2x Motion Plus the v3 isnt really missing.
I only tried scenario A and I think it offers a great overall experience. If you want to keep the V3 then I suggest to go with Motion Plus front and rear along with V3 without Traction plus at all. The V3 will give you the sense of traction loss and surge as well which is excellent as well. I did try this setup for a while and I liked it a lot. It’s only that I had the traction plus already that I decided it to keep it.

Hey I'm looking to do this same setup. I have the traction plus and V3 seat mover. How did you acquire the mounting bracket to mount the two motion plus to your traction plus? I've been waiting for NLR to release it, but last time I checked it wasn’t on their website.
I reached to NLR support and they agreed to my request to order the frame needed to complete this setup before it is officially released.
@@aauda ok thanks for replying. Are you allowed to disclose how much just the frame will cost? I’m wondering if it will be more economical to just buy the 20/20 pieces.
If I recall correctly USD 499 including express shipping which was expensive. The frame comes with all nuts and bolts needed.
I wasn't sure if it was possible to use two motion plus on top of the traction loss because I was talking to the guys from next level and they told me with the weight capacities you can only use one. So it's still going strong I assume?
Yes going well no issues. The weight have been reviewed with NLR support and it is within limit.
I have NLR Building this Rig for me and they mentioned a wweight limit for drivers, Im 80 KGS and they were ok with that .
I can't see buttkickers on your rig anymore, does motion plus have it's own tactile motors and buttkickers are not necessary at the moment?
I replaced the buttkickers with U Shake 6 which is place on the seat and gives all the vibrations needed. Less weight and less cables!!

They have different effect. Pls see my other replies on my channel for details. I prefer the current 5 DOF setup to the V3
