Anyone remember the restaurant Casa Cominetti? Had a daily menu, & a standard menu with the names of all famous celebrities around the edge that had visited since it was established in Rushy Green 1916.

Catford used to be a lovely and safe place in those days compared to now especially the street that I grew up on.

That was in the 1950s. By 1970 that craze had ended. My parents told me about the Teds.

Even in Victorian era hangs of young men were on the streets up to no good? It's nothing new. My dad to!d me about the 'razor gangs' back in the '50s. Teddy boys would conceal razor blades in their suit lapels, ready to dep!oh in a fight?

Because Britain is a NW European country, the natural population should be white. How would you like to be the minority in your own city and the place where your people naturally come from? What has happened since is wrong and everyone who is honest knows it. Teddy boys were the 50s not 70s, btw.

I don't condone ANY racism Jacqueline but certain groups were worried the indigenous would become a minority over time.In 2016 The London Census showed only 1 in 10 Inner Londoners were to indigenous Brits. In 1960 it was 97%.
Also, the birth rate of most immigrants in 4 per Home compared with White/Jewish/Chinese 2 per household.
That equates to 125 times more progeny for every 2 Non White people over 7 generations ( 4x4x4 etc )
