I agree, building is teh way. However, i wish you did an episode of 'the different kinds of build' e.g. work with a building and construction company, work directly with your fundi and get a periodic foreman etc.

The advantage with buying from a reputable developer is you can get a house overlooking the views you like, such as cities, nature.
