Mia will probably never see this but just a fun video idea: doing a full face of top beauty products from 2010. I feel like makeup has really changed since then and it would be fun to see all the products again and talk about how we do makeup now vs 10 years ago.
Only problem is- most of the products- unless they're "cult classics"- will not be sold anymore.

@@DJoy222 you’re probably right for a lot of them- but the drug store still has a lot of the “cult classics” that they had 10 years ago. So, maybe doing a mix of drug store and high end, so she has more options? I’m hoping that would be a bit easier to get her hands on some of these products from 2010. 🤷🏼♀️

Sometimes I just wish you wouldn't be so forgiving. Not every product is great. The lipstick at the end was so patchy after two coats, and it was $24 😭 I loved the idea of making this video though!
She's definitely too nice sometimes, but she's gotten so better with reviews tbh. I remember when she wouldn't even call a terrible item slightly bad, like, she still gave it a 7 out of 10 when it was clearly a 1. But at least now she can outwardly say "I don't like this product".

A good idea is having your mom buy 1 star rated & 5 star rated makeup products and you have to guess the rating! :)

I think you should do this again with one star products but don’t read the one star review and see if your opinion of the product matches the other one star opinions. That way your first impression on the product is not swayed in anyway

The eye product by Charlotte Tilbury isn’t a concealer. It’s an eye brightner that works along with a concealer. I believe that’s why people give it a poor review. Also it’s expensive and a step not all want.
As someone who worked for Charlotte for a period of time I will say that you neverrrr use sponges with her makeup most things are light and hydrating so using a sponge like that will just take it away. The eye brightner is a beautiful product for day to day when you want to look less tired. Best applied with finger tip or dense concealer brush to tap in. Definitely not a concealer tho but for a lot of older clientele just looking to feel like they look refreshed this is a go to
Always store those felt tip liners or brow products with the tip pointing down. That definitely helps keep the product in the tip for use.
I find it so funny and endearing when Mia points out something that I would NEVER in a million years have noticed like her teeth if she hadn't said it first. actually even after she pointed it out I'm like looks fine to me hahaha. It's just interesting how much we sometimes think other people will notice about us when the reality is probably most of the time no one will 😂

Kaja beauty is a korean product. Asian beauty dont like “BAM! SHINE!” Theyre more calm and a little bit of “shine”. So I feel like it was only rated so low because people don’t realize Kaja goal is to target people who likes calm makeup.

I love using the Georgia blush as a blush topper. It leaves such a pretty golden sheen - but you definitely need to layer it with another blush.

Honestly, if I were to use highlighter, all I would want is the glitter aspect as my personal style is more subtle…and inspired by Korean makeup. Given that Kaja is a Korean brand, this is exactly what I would expect to see from a product aimed towards that style!

Hey Mia, my eye twitches a lot sometimes as well. I just sip a bit of magnesium and it gets so much better! I'm not a doctor but I've been told by a one that it is supposed to fix it and my personal experience confirms it - so I thought I should share.

For me I was missing fluoride! I use fluoride free toothpaste and I don’t drink tap water (filtered only) and I started drinking the tap again because my eye would twitch multiples times a a day everyday and within 1 week the tap water fixed it! I still drink tap haha

i used it years and years ago and remember being amazed at how good, full coverage and not powdery it was but its always been too expensive for me to repurchase and i also have dry skin so prefer liquid haha

I personally find that putting highlighter on with my finger gets the best out of every highlighter I've ever tried. It makes it more shiny, as well as getting more precise placement and a better blend. Maybe the kaja highlighter would be nice applied that way?

Another take on this would be for you to use the product and THEN compare your results to the reviews!!
It would be nice to try a brush in the Kaja highlighter. I know your meant to use the stamp, but maybe using a brush would give it more of a fighting chance!
Kaja’s highlighter is suppose to be subtle since it’s a Korean brand and they don’t do the blinding highlighters.

To be young again and able to slap any kind of crap on my face and somehow make it work... 😭😭 I stopped with the full glam routine after having my son. Then I would get "dolled up" from time to time but basically managed with minimal makeup. Now I'm 35, my son is 13, so I'm ready to invest in a whole ass beauty routine again BUT every single product I put on my face now looks like poo. It's devastating!! 😭😭😭
