$5 for a four piece of friend cheese and pasta feels like a prank on the public. They even serve them in a cup that reminds you that you are getting ripped off.
For real!!! McDonald's does this with their french fries now. You order a large and pay $5.00 for that and its got the same amount of fries in it that a small fry has.

I remember, 12 years ago, when Del Taco had deep fried mac n' cheese bites.
I worked there at the time and they were pretty amazing, they were seasonal and never came back but everyone loved them. We cooked them to order (so it took time) but everyone who bought them never complained.
I kind of wonder how these are even messed up, is someone in the back cooking giant batches and putting them under heat lamps?

I think a more accurate slogan for Arby's is "were still here". I mean, the have kinda meats, but they don't have THE meats. Arby's, you know what you're getting into, and in case you forgot, your gi tract will remind you in a few hours. Arby's, we have the meat, and by meats I mean gelatinous bags we put in the oven for you. Do you want curly fries w that?

it’s all expensive and all tastes like bullshit. like go to mcdonald’s get a burger and fries 14.50 the fry box is half full if you’re lucky and they’re soggy and cold and the burger tastes like donkey feet and they pulled me up and made me wait 12 minutes for that. i’m sick of it all
I get them 2/$7 on the app, and my daughter and I love them. The outside is crispy and has a garlic taste, and the inside is very cheesy and creamy. I was very surprised at how delicious they are.

I work as a closing shift manager at an Arby's, the $4.99 price for a 4 piece is ludicrous, now if it were an 8 piece at $4.99 these would be great, just order them cooked to order or straight from the fryer

The last few times I've driven by Arby's at lunch time the parking lot is less than half full. Sometimes just a couple of cars. At the same time, Culvers and Chic-Fil-A are packed.

Out of all the insane greedflation we have seen from fast food companies, Arby's is one of the worst offenders. Haven't had them in almost 2 years.

Did you try them? My experience was vastly different than his. I’d eat 8 of them a day if I could, and I’m not even that big of a macaroni and cheese fan, unless it’s fresh and creamy.
Went and got some of the mac 'n cheese bites today. Boy, you were not kidding. That's one of the blandest tasting "cheesy" items I've ever had. If you told me it had zero salt, I'd believe you.

I picked up a box of frozen Mac and cheese bites from Trader Joe’s for about the same price -ad least twice as many.

I've had these twice now and I completely disagree. Maybe eating them hot n fresh makes a big difference but I thought they were really good. I agree on the price though - they are expensive and I wish they sold them in a 12 pack.

I speculate that he waited too long. If you ask me the fried mac 'n' cheese bites are delicious if you eat them straightaway, though the price is excessive.

Why not? I love Arby’s, and everyone I know does too. Their prices are just a bit high, but using the app helps a lot.
I haven't felt any bit compelled to sample these, they seem rather like tavern fryer food that soaks up fryer juice, to squirt in your mouth upon biting into them like scallops or anything questionable from a captains plate, Mac and cheese , for myself at least,is only good the conventional way, the name itself, makes it sound like something on the menu from a dive bar. You are much braver than I.
considering Wegmans sells the same thing in the frozen aisle for 12 for 4.99 you pay triple extra for inferior product. sad. I LOVE mac and cheese in almost everything. thanks Reviewbrah

This is the first time I have eaten the same food while watching the review. I got the mac and cheese bites today and remembered you had a video on them and decided to watch. My take was that they were overpriced and too greasy as well. The first one was pretty good but by the fourth I was over them.

I’ve had Mac Bites from different restaurants and they’re a lot better freshly fried than waiting almost an hour to try them. Also there’s a decent amount of sauces / dips, whatever you may prefer , that compliment them to make them even that much better.

I believe they use potato starch so they’d fry up good, but the oil takes out all the flavor as the bites act as a sponge soaking up all that oil. Disgusting.
