I challenged my ex-F3 teammate, Nazim Azman, to a karting battle! Instead of doing a normal race, we decided to shake things up a bit. This being a normal arrive and drive day, there was a wide skill range of drivers, so we made today's objective all about overtaking. To win today, we'll need to out-overtake the other driver AND we get bonus points for having the fastest lap overall... May the best driver win!

As a local driver here the track is no where near as physical as it used to be. Now its electric. The main issue now is the disgusting understeer through most corners, Really doesnt suit my driving style at all.
I haven't tried the new electric karts here. I love electric karts, but only when the surface is really slippery. Not sure if this track suits them tbh, so bit of a shame the gas karts are gone...

This was a great idea, @cameron! As a skilled driver (not as skilled as yourself) I have had to tell friends, family, and work ânoâ when they want to go race concession karts. Traffic is just so bad that it doesnât feel like racing at all, and karts arenât evenly matched enough to have a shot at the track record, so I just couldnât figure out how to make it fun.

My local track got these bizkarts and it feels more like you're getting attacked by the kart than driving. They violently hop in almost every corner.

Can you try to race at racehall cph in denmark it is a really fun track and i Would totally recommend going there. It is one of the biggest indoor tracks in the world

Takes a lot of money to move up to F2 from F3, and I couldn't raise enough money between winning EuroFormula and the deposit date for F2 pre-season. But honestly, I love making these videos, so I'm still having a blast!

Soon I hope! I've heard they've gone electric recently which probably isn't a good thing for this track specifically, but I want to give it a shot before judging. I love the track layout- probably in my top 3 globally, so I'll likely give it a try on a member's night this summer when I'm in town.
@@CameronDasRacing nice one! i havent tried the electric karts yet but i am tomorrow in the junior acadamy so hopefully i can adjust quick to them. yeah the track is great! do you have to be 16 or over for the members night because if so i wouldnt be able to join.
@@CameronDasRacing you should also try out bayford meadows if you havent already. its a great track its in sittingbourne kent.

I haven't been there yet! If it's anything like other teamsport tracks, the top two tricks are to not over-slip front tires and to maximize every millimeter of track width.

I always watch your videos and really want F1 24 but I canât afford it right now and my birthday is in 5 days unfortunately none of my friends can get it for me as it is about 70 pounds on PlayStation so if you could get it for me it will be the best birthday gift ever as your the one that inspired me into racing.
Iâm interested is learning racing so I was wondering if indoor or outdoor karting is more realistic to racing real cars
This will be a controversial opinion, but I personally think racing indoor tracks with slippery surfaces is the most realistic to driving open wheel cars. As soon as kart tracks get grippy, or the chassis have a lot of flex in corners, then you start developing kart-specific habits that you'd never do in a real car really.

Rental karting or sim racing is the best place to start if you can afford it. If you can't spend time at race tracks- maybe working for a team or driver doing whatever you're good at, and you'll soak up info like a sponge. You'll also build a network that will become super useful for the rest of your career.
Just a tip for anyone reading this- a lot of drivers could really use could people around them doing whatever it is they need most. Maybe it's being a general assistant, maybe it's filming content for socials, maybe it's analyzing onboards and writing reports. Point is, you can get paid to essentially be taught the ins and outs by a professional if you put yourself out there and offer value to someone. You never know where it leads...
