This is a little awkward, but Charlie just posted a video mocking and making fun of a woman who was having a mental breakdown and labeled her as a "Karen" when clearly the lady was not all there or was having an episode. Not cool at all and a typical example of sheep mentality where a popular word is thrown around carelessly and incorrectly just like simp, cuck, beta, alpha, sigma, tau, upsilon, phi, chi, psi, omega...
5:08 The four stripes on the left sleeve are a Thom Browne staple. It's meant to be a massive flex but I've never been a fan of it either.

Going against the grain here but I think designer brand suits deserve a chance. Sure, paying US$2000+ for a traditionally-ill-fitting suit with 4 stripes on the arm is probably bonkers, but if you acknowledge Thom Browne's influence on today's menswear, it might not be that crazy at all (whether that influence is a blessing or a curse is another story). Armani, Tom Ford, etc. I think all their suits have a place in menswear even if they're not the enthusiasts' most favourite silhouettes.
With that said, I would give similar recommendations that you gave out here for people buying their first proper suit. 😁

In the more rural southeastern US, not all the time. It is expected you dress well. Be it a polo and khakis, or what you'd wear to Church on Sundays.
This is from my experience though.

What width did you choose for those lapels on the suit supply jacket? Wide or extra wide?
It wasn't custom, so I didn't have a choice. Maybe they changed it since then because it's been a few years. It's the Washington cut. My guess is that it'd be either regular or wide...if I had the choice I'd go wider haha!
