  • 🎉 A Grand Opening to Remember! 🛹🚲🛴🛼
Today, our community celebrated the highly anticipated opening of the Perinton Skatepark! Local leaders, skatepark advocates, neighbors, and enthusiastic supporters gathered to cut the ribbon and mark this milestone event. Special thanks to our dedicated project partners, committed town staff, generous sponsors, and engaged community members!
The new skatepark, located in an area of Perinton Park that was previously underutilized, spans 13,500 square feet and features a unique pump track. The project also includes several enhancements to Perinton Park, such as:
    🅿️ An expanded parking lot
👟 An enhanced pedestrian entrance from Route 31F
    ♿️ New ADA-compliant sidewalks
    🔆 Additional lighting
🌳 Landscaping to enhance the park's accessibility and convenience
☀️A shade structure, benches, & picnic tables
Today we also recognized the contributions of local businesses and organizations that supported the skatepark project. The Fairport Foundation, alongside local skatepark advocates, led the private fundraising efforts. Key sponsors include ESL Federal Credit Union, FinditinFairport.com, and McCarthy Tents & Events among many others.
This event was a true community celebration, made possible by your support and participation. Together, we’ve rolled into a new era for Perinton, filled with excitement and promise. Let’s keep the momentum going! 🚲🛹✨

What r the Insurance and Town Liability Responsibilities for not Requiring Head Gear and Pads for everyone. It surprises me that the Town Boards, along with Town Liability Insurance Carriers did not insist on Mandatory SAFETY precautions. Helmets should b required, elbow and knee pads should b required..yikes
