Viva la Vida (Warriors OC MAP) || Part 2 + Speedpaint

Decided to go heavier on the art and take a step back from the animation for this one. It was a nice change of pace. Since I livestreamed the entirety of the art, I decided to download the livestreams and include a speedpaint of it (which is why there might be some awkward pauses in that part)!
I'm not introducing any new characters or story info in this part, but in case you're new, here's the basic story:
There are 4 clans in this story: Caveclan, Timberclan, Snowclan, and Fireclan. After a spell of bad weather, sickness, famine, and strife caused by Firstar and Elkstar (the leaders of Timberclan and Fireclan respectively), all of the clans but Caveclan fall apart from the inside and disband. Caveclan managed to escape this fate due to their strategic position in the territories. Meanwhile, the Timberclan, Fireclan, and Snowclan's final leaders (Firstar, Elkstar, and Quietstar) are barred from Starclan, and left to wander the earth as ghosts indefinitely. All three feel like they've been wronged, and while Firstar and Quietstar feel depressed and hopeless by their situation, Elkstar seethes and wants revenge on everyone for what happened to him and Fireclan.

Elkstar is by far my favourite oc of yours, I like dark backstorys and Elkstar's behaviour towards outsiders and clanmates after his ( ? ) mental state declines sure sounds interesting

How DID you use blender for your camera movement? When I first saw this I was so inspired and wanted to try it my own but couldn’t understand how it worked- What tutorials did you use? Do you have any tips for blenders camera System?
This is the main tutorial I’ve used for the camera rig I’ve used in the past: czcams.com/video/mkD7S7wLx1I/video.html . Basically, you parents the camera to an empty, and then add a Bézier curve to plan out the path of the camera. You’d then add a follow path constraint to the empty and you can animate the offset along the path. For this part, I just had the camera face straight down and layered the png images for the art so that I created some depth between them.

Yep! I organize the layers in folders in my CSP file, and then export them as pngs. In blender I import them as planes and just adjusted the z coordinate on them to space them out so I’d get that illusion of depth, then set up a camera rig pointing directly down at the set up so I could get a smooth camera movement

Wait so Elkstar is menting Lynx for a chance of getting into StarClan, right? Do Quietstar and Firstar get the same chance?
So Starclan gives all three of them a chance to get into Starclan by mentoring the new leaders, yes, but Elkstar doesn’t actually care about getting into Starclan (at this point) and is instead pretending to go along with that reason to use the new Fireclan to try to ruin the other clans. So yeah, Quiet and Fir also get that chance!

@@SkiggsMoDiggs they aren’t apprentices in the traditional sense, but Quietstar’s is Sheep and Firstar’s is Timberfall (who has only made cameos in my vids as of yet)
