They are so good. I pray to all you guys that you feel the love of god. He is real and works through this band.
They don't sing these songs or play the music just for your enjoyment, they do this with a meaning, to get all of us to think about our lives and go to Christ. I am already a firm believer in my Lord. That's the message For Today is sending to the world and the human race, they are preaching a message through their music. You will either go to heaven or hell, it all depends if you believe and have faith in Jesus Christ.
let the people decide that. i was heavy into Christianity but fell out because of how i seen the people act and treat others. if they were allowed to enjoy this music without being pushed many of them would be more interested and entice themselves, but when pushed they only move further away.

Like many others must've already pointed out, it's not about sharing the beliefs expressed in their songs, but just enjoying the way they are expressed, very passionately.
Whether you're Christian or not you have to admit this band is freaking awesome. I feel the Holy Spirt everytime i listen to these guys, They're my church.

Amen brother!!! These guys are making a difference. They aren't afraid to tell the world what they stand for and I respect them for that! Too many Christians are afraid of "offending people" when they need to take a stand and not worry what the world thinks of them.
for todays lyrics are becoming immortal because they are truly cementing themselves in history as the best christian metal band in the world, they rep Jesus harder than any band thats out there...no one comes close

It's a reference to the teaching of Paul. Paul says to truly live is Christ. A life without Christ isn't living, and that's evidenced by the emptiness and yearning everyone without Him will take to the grave.
For Today is their own genre, I'd like to call it "Uniting the people" they send a message, to everyone, atheists, and Christians all alike, we are the same. Music like this is meant to bring us TOGETHER, through hardships, I'm a christian, but I've been atheist before, life is truly a mysterious struggle, For Today is what brought me to believing, they are amazing.

I'm going to be completely honest, I'm not religious, but I saw these guys last Friday when I went to see Upon A Burning Body, and I liked their music and checked them out to find they're a Christian band, I don't agree with their message but I love the music and respect their beliefs and yours. I don't like people criticizing these guys for their beliefs, I respect what they and their fans believe. People are just judgmental!

I was chilling with the vocalist of Texas before a show and asked him about the whole Christian thing, he said they don't consider themselves a christian band, just a band that writes about whatever they feel. Which sometimes is god but most of the time is something else. I don't see why it matters, but just thought I'd throw this tid-bit of info out there
