- He plays Jussie Smollett’s father on the hit Fox show Empire, and it looks like actor Terrence Howard had a fatherly chat with his TV son after Smollett was charged with filing a false police report. Howard apparently wasn’t convinced by Smollett’s story that he was the victim of racist and homophobic attackers, and asked him how much truth there really was in it.

They told the police he did it because he wanted a higher salary, which is what he must have told them when the brothers asked him why he wanted them to attack him. He probably didn't want to tell them the real reasons; to boost his own career, get sympathy from the whole industry, becoming a major player in the black community and to hurt Trump and do his opponents a favor.
