With the resurgence of Xscape in 2023 came the revival of all the drama that came along with them. Since the early 90’s Tamika, Kandi, Tiny, and Latocha dominated the R&b charts with hits like ‘Just Kickin It’ and ‘Understanding,’ but there’s been quite a misunderstanding within the group dating back decades. From slap box matches to full on fist fights the girls at one point were with all the shenans and weren’t afraid to let it be known. Being contractually tied to a group comes with many trials and tribulations, however the drama that comes with Xscape appears to be never ending and it could all be due to one trifling man with a dirty plan. - Zábava

Great video but why does nobody ever address the physical fights they used to have when they were together in the 90s? The one between kandi and tocha is what I believe was a MAJOR turning point in the groups story.
LaTocha is a problem for the group and she is a complete liar who holds a grudge against Kandi Burress. I mean she is very messy and never can seem to get it together for the sake of Xscape.

Good Video but you said in one Part Jermain Prioretasied Tochas Vocals over the rest that was wrong. He prioritized Kandis Voice and Toch didn't like it in the third and final album new producers came in, and they wanted Tocha to lead more.

Tocha Solo deal came FIRST! in 98 and part of it was her having to promote the TOML album and she could start on her project. Which is why she left after My Little Secret single.. (that wasn’t a gospel solo deal) she started putting out songs on Soudtracks(Best Man-Big Momma’s house, etc? Kandi and Tiny wasn’t for Tocha Chunking the deuces. They were young new and scared and didn’t know what to do! Tamika interview where she bashed Kandi.. was on Hot97 defending her sister, not an Atlanta radio station.

there are so many inaccuracies in this video that it’s embarrassing to watch. So much of the information can easily be researched and fact checked. Awesome did it start off by saying that Latasha was pushed as main vocalist of the group when she’s not even singing lead on the very first single let alone singing lead on the first two albums is easily fact, checked and easily researched. It was only on the third album when they were preparing her for her solo deal when she started to sing lead, and that can be easily checked by looking at the album, and listening to the three albums, there is a clear and distinct difference from the first two albums towards the third. People who don’t do their research and just put out factual information like this it’s embarrassing.
She also said Tamika was pregnant with her 1st child when the money was stolen but it was during her last pregnancy
