Hypnosis is about suggestion, not mind control. It can’t make you do something you would never allow, and it’s kinda like being in a dream state. I find it to be really relaxing and cool. I went to a hypnosis show, and as the hypnotist hypnotized the volunteers on stage, I voluntarily let myself get hypnotized from my seat in the theatre. It was really cool that the hypnotist expected some people in the crowd to be hypnotized as well so he let all of us get on stage too! I later twisted my ankle on stage but that was my fault lmao-
Edit: Hypnosis can also have lingering triggers that can be activated at any time lol. Also apparently it’s kinda like going into REM sleep, and yes you might kinda be in the back of your mind commenting on things like you’re a spectator

I accidentally go into hypnosis states LOL. It's weird. I just randomly get really relaxed and listen to music and feel like my body is growing or pulsing it weird but fun. At 40:17 i think tommy said as dream that he made everyones career i saw someone in chat say thats what they think he said and tommy said someone got it right (id if he was talking about the max ggs bit but it still works) because when he said "and yeah phil did that and he got a few thosand viewers" he probably went on to say "and once he joined the dream smp he got more viewers everyone blew up because of me when i let them join my server" or something like that idk

it's most likely that. but there could have also been some stuff about the grooming allegations there.
it could be that, but I think it’s a grooming allegations because Tommy does say that someone got it right and once he comes back to Jack telling everyone what his favourite part was. If you pause it, you can read someone talk about the dream allegations and you can see Tommy scroll up hover over it for a second and then remove the chat.

"that" in "phil did that..." is his hardcore world. but what REALLY made him famous, was the dream smp.
