Lo más, tuve un classic 72, el último classic....lo más, todo.
My '64 Classic had a transmission that used the quadrant: PRN21L. 2 started in 2nd and shifted into 3rd, while 1 started in 1st and shifted through all 3 gears. L was where the transmission was locked into 1st when starting out, but when shifted into at speed, it first dropped to 2nd, then 1st, where it would remain.
I have a 64 Ambassador 990 that has that exact same transmission.
@@AtTheEndProductions - Pretty much the same car between the Classic 770 and the Ambassador 990, although the Ambo is more luxurious.
@@OldsVistaCruiser Did you ever have any difficulty with your transmission? I can't tell if mine is shifting properly. I've started out from d1 and d2 but I've never felt it shift all three times. Also the rpms seem a little high at cruising speeds- 65 mph is about 3,500 rpms. You're the first fellow Rambler owner I've spoken to haha
@@AtTheEndProductions- Put it into 1. You will feel it do a 1-2 and a 2-3 shift. 2 is for extra winter traction by starting in 2nd.
@@OldsVistaCruiser I have tried that but will try it again and see if I can feel it shift. Hopefully I don't have a bum transmission. Thanks for the info!

Algo así, el padre del Torino sería el rambler american del 64. De ese modelo se hizo una renovación con estilo europeo. Se contrató a Pininfarina y así comineza la historia del Toro. Lo q yo te cuento está super resumido.
