That's right, any art is directed to certain kind of people and perception is different because everybody has lived different experiences, likes and loves. There are certain kind of things for certain kind of people.
And I know personally people who this causes vomit.
The reasons are these according to my experience with other people: Voices resembles squierrels and sound childish not like a man is ver uncomfortable to hearing that , chorus sound ridiculous, lyrics are for someone who feels identified himself with that "bad" life. Hair, and look of the group are in general and additionally unpleasant to see for many people, chords and structure are too simplistic and with no interest, and for many it causes a feeling that never wanna know nor hear again, if you like it, that's ok, it is for you. What others think is good you might think is garbage.
This is the answer I got for several virtuoso musicians, scientist, hi-tec programmers and intellectuals I know.
They don't need to dislike the video either

NYE 2013, first year post grad, my two best friends (who I met at uni) and I blew off big fancy celebrations to go to a small, local dive with a jukebox and an open floor to sing and dance our hearts out to this song bringing in the new year. I’ve never seen those two friends smile and live more happily than in that moment. It was pure joy. The expressions on their faces were priceless and remain so clear in my memory. One of those best friends tragically passed away a few years later. Miss her dearly every day. Sometimes I’ll take a drive, blast this song and sing my lungs out to it smiling and crying. So sad and so grateful. Life is not easy but my God is it wonderful♥️
