U can't indianize Or westernize education. Atleast education should be left free from national boarders. Education is knowledge, science and facts and they are not earmarked by one country. In fact, science and knowledge should transcend national boarders and bind the whole humanity. Good education is good education, a good teacher is a good teacher no matter the country
Actually u dont know the truth behind our educational system... It's not about indianised Or westernized..... But one thing is for sure that this nonsense that "you can smoke because you are an adult" that is coming from west should definitely be avoided. Now don't say that cigrette is in india even before western culture was introduced in india. The difference is that first we used to boycott but because of western influence we are accepting these bad things. And if we won't stop it then it will become common in India just like cuss words and abuse and slang words.

Every country should be proud of their country's culture and country. Dood man , UK 🇬🇧 here.
This is actually true. I have a PhD from an IIT,but when I apply for faculty post in the same they ask for experience from foreign universities. This show clearly that Indians are still holding the ass of western system . Such a shame.
The speech was amazing!! His modulation was on top as well but... Its kind of ironic that he said all that bout have indians ways but still try to speak in am accent .. but still the speech was immaculate
i don't think that was an american accent....i guess it is an urban pan indian accent
There wasn’t an accent lol 😂😂
When you say the correct pronunciation the accent comes automatically..
It was like the olden ways of speech.
He spoke English because it is a common tongue. How would I have understood if he had spoken in Hindi.
Because I speak kannada & English.

True. He has directly copied the tone and tempo. Super pretentious and fake. Extremely stupid for the people in comments to say that they would vote for him as if the job of an elected representative is to make speeches.
for those who say that he needs to speak in hindi first of all ,hindi is not our national language and only spoken by north indians mainly so WhatsApp University se padhne ke baad itni wahiyat knowledge mat rakhiye ,and english can be understand by most of people of India.

The truth is that we still follow the education system that Britishers made to turn indians into fools, into a conservative mindset and into a society who is not against britishers... As well as a society who doesn't know thoer own culture, their rich heritage and many more things.... This is what he meant by it..... But now we don't have anything like that in our books and people feel conservative about this topic... But we have temples like khajuraho temple which depicts that kamashastra that is sex education were taught in our indian system of education ...our education system now isn't skill based either the education quality has degraded..why do you think our whole history books doesn't have any significant and prominent people of past depicted in our books? You know what today's people say about smoking? They say "smoking is nothing wrong. They are adults so they can smoke. It's their life their choice. We shouldn't interfere in their lives and they have the right to make choices of their life. And as smoking is a choice made by an adult after reaching adulthood it's nothing wrong." How disappointing! Kya hm Aise logo k liye ped-podhe bcha rhe h? I don't talk so much about west and it's culture and thinking.

Out of 28 states only 9 have hindi as their official language. Why do we need to adopt hindi? Our constitution has not enforced that to us. Our constitution is written in English. And during independence, the decision was taken that all the official works will be done in hindi. If I start talking in Odia, because that's my mother tongue, are you going to understand. Simply no. I know hindi a bit but I'm not fluent with it. Because I didn't have hindi as a subject in my school. But South Indians and North East Indians don't even understand simple hindi. Now you'll tell that we have to learn hindi so before doing that you yourself learn all the other 21 official languages of India then ask us to do that.
