I choose this one over a 600 and 800 cc bobbers that were available just because its light, very easy to handle and take anywhere for daily chores. bigger heavier bikes look good but are just too much trouble. I am happy with GV300S power and speed too

Hi, can you explain what is the difference between the tuned sound and untuned sound with the muffler ? I can hear the sound difference but I don’t know why does it sounds different. Is it a different muffler ?
there is a baffle inside. you can close or open it to tune the sound

You have the best performance in "Stock / Original Muffler". Why? The manufacturer has a lot of engineers and has more money to develop than a small customizer. If you love to ride a motorcycle and go to work at 3am every morning, your neighbor will be happy if your machine is original and quiet. But thanks for this video and the differences. :-)
you are right buddy hahahah. Nowadays i commute to my Job on this one and i have to meet many cops on the way. so i removed the noisy exhaust and added the original. or else I would not reach my job in time LOL cops here hate noisy motorcycles.

I am sure many people in Europe are waiting for this amazing Chopper. I can't get enough of riding it. and just when I though this was a slow bike, I happened to open it up on an open road yesterday, and even in 3rd gear it shot out so quick that I was amazed. in an instant from 50kmph I was doing 120kmph. I and my kids love riding GV300S. Once you get one, you will know the feeling. its worth every penny.

Reasons: LOL how funny it is that there is an idiot with a locally made sports motorcycle and he has put a real loud exhaust on his motorcycle. he often ride around our living area very early morning or very late night reving the engine on purpose. Residents have filed a complaint against him and I am sure cops are now be looking for any loud motorcycle. mine is not loud but still I do not want to get caught for that idiots mistakes.
So I removed mine for a while. and using stock muffler. because I care about residents and neighbors. I do not ride early morning nor late night, and even if i go out at night I will turn off the engine and push the bike in.

I was wondering though what you meant by tuned exhaust. Was this an ECU tune you got after installation ?
So this is a custom Exhaust built for GV300S in a factory here in China. and they have given you an option to tune the sound. You want your ride to be quiet like stock motorcycle was or you want it to be loud to wake the neighbors up, you can turn one screw using a Number 10 wrench and tune the exhaust sound by yourself.
basically there is a circular plate just before the opening of exhaust rear. and using a screw you can turn it around. If you make it parallel to ground, you have the loudest heaviest sound with bass hitting your heart, you can wake up all parked electric and non electric vehicles security alarms with that sound LOL.
and if you turn screw to set the plate diagonally, you can tune the sound as per your like.
alishanmao ah sounds like a great way to have a customisable sound ! You can keep it set to how you want it at anytime.

@@alishanmao Sad but true, all over the world - driving a minivan because my classic musclecar gets too much of the wrong attention when I'm just cruising out to a gig to film stuff.

So far I have no issues with this bike, except that Chain was making way too much noise. for which i bought chain cleaner, lube and wax. after applying that. its nice an quiet. it has enough power and punch, and I have done 180km highest speed so far. I am sure i can push a bit more. for daily use and functional purposes, its absolutely helping us a lot in daily life. I can carry my kids around, i can even go get groceries. and its just a attention magnet. people come to me, take pictures with my motorcycle and love to talk about it.
on the other note, its not comfortable on very long rides. but only if you go on very long rides you should care. I mostly stay in city limits. Custom exhaust is what everyone loves on it. The way you can tune the sound to your liking is awesome.

I am thinking to make an experiment. Cut the the original exhaust from rear, take the middle piece out, fix it with a screw on the rear edge of exhaust so I can open and close it. maybe It will sound the same hahaha

I am not sure if its available outside China. its locally made here. I can sell you mine if you like. its not expensive. shipping can be costly due to size and weight. and for that i have to give you price less than the price I bought it from. only used it 2 weeks or so. then removed it. because some old folks complained of noisy motorcycle in area. later turned out, that was some other guy who put a loud exhaust on his locally made bike and made the hell of the noise. was not me LOL.

Thats good enough Kevin hahaha :D here in China now There are huge Harley Showrooms. People are buying Harley a lot. we can see new riders groups coming out at night with big heavy Harley and noisy sounds. but price is crazy on those. This one seems to be designed for my body hahah Fits really nice and I love riding it. My kids love it too. they would never miss a chance to ride it with me.
@@alishanmao Having been a Harley owner I do have a soft spot for them but a good quality bike is just that and I think you got a sweet one and honestly a Harley is a money sink when you get right down to it. I prefer a modest bike that does not cost a fortune to get into and which nickle and dimes you at every turn.
100% agree with your brother. A Harley in China costs two arms and two legs LOL. Well I ordered two harley davidson stickers and I will put them on the tank LOL. no one can tell difference then. Hyosung makes great bikes. This motorcycle catches lots of attention, as people think I am riding some new model of harley. It does not cost fortune. its worth every penny. Very fuel efficient too.

New exhaust doesn't sound 'Harley',... more, Italian V-twin sound then American.
Remove the exhaust and put a straight pipe... then it will sound like a Harley... almost.
so straight pipe has nothing in it? that will sound damn loud LOL. this one is adjustable sound, but if i remove the sound adjustment plate, this its just a straight pipe and its really very loud. I am thinking to go back to stock exhaust. LOL. on long rides, my right ear feels num LOL
@@alishanmao Well... if this is loud for you then having a stock exhaust would be better.. Since this is a twin engine - having individual pipe for each engine would make the rumble sound much distinct is what I am trying to say. You can have individual exhaust for each engine like Eagles exhaust or Fishtail or similar so that it won't be too loud but the sound will be much distinct... Since its a small displacement engine - on high revs during high speed - you will feel exhausted hahaha...
Now i got you :) yes individual straight pipes (one for each cylinder output) will sound even better. There is one custom exhaust on local portal for sale. two pipes, one for each cylinder and its like a mini Gun at the end. so it rotates when engine starts LOL. they call it fire starter LOL sounds really nice. There is a Sweet lady riding a GV300S in my town with that exhaust. I might get that one later.
