Great cut mate, I think you kind of answered the question before but you said you didn’t wanna cut the hair twice so if you used the guide from the periatel ridge to start the sides and back surely you wouldn’t have to do the horizontal sections to connect the back and sides to the top so saving time?
You could use the guide from the ridge which would create a similar length all over. I decided to cut the back and sides at a shorter length. In this case the top needed to be connected to the sides because they are two different lengths. I hope this makes sense

When you did your round layer on the top you mentioned not to go past the round of the head is that because you wanted to maintain more length and weight in this haircut? 2. When you did your shape below the horseshoe did you use a guide from the top? And you created a square layer underneath right? Many thanks
No problem Jake, Thanks for your support on all my content! 1) Not exactly, I didn't go round the parietal ridge because I was going to cut that hair whilst cutting the back and sides so it saved me from cutting it twice. I use the parietal ridge as a point of reference because it is the location where I would say the top of the head and sides meet. If I had started on the back and sides then I wouldn't have used the ridge as a reference point and would have cut it all round. 2) I didn't use a guide from the top. The back and sides were cut to a different length to the top so in theory, Im creating a brand new guide when I move onto the back and sides. Thanks again Jake!
