    ATTENTION!!! I noticed that quite a few of you have unsubscribed because I reacted to this speech from Nigel Farage. I just wanted to say, I am an American, so I don’t know UK or EU politics very well. I don’t want to upset anyone or stir up the pot. I did this reaction video because I thought that this one particular speech from Farage was funny. I am not for him or against him. I did this video out of good faith. If reacting to speeches from politicians is too sensitive for some of you, I will not do them anymore. I may even consider taking this one down. If you have read this far in the comment, thank you for watching and have a great day. Love you all!!!

      @@jjcustard6378 1Brexit IS a main reason why prices are rising in Europe. Or doesn't losing one of your key traders (UK) and having your Euro devalued like the pound has devalued have an effect? Most of our trade is with Europe and now we pay more for everything as a result. From day one of Brexit's implementation prices have been rising steadily and supermarket shelves have been bare here and there. 2 The reason why food prices are going up in the US is because it has an appallingly run economy where 50% of its people are living in poverty despite all its wealth. (Mainly due to Republican greed) Pressure that powder keg with global events and the hidden hardships fly out. 3 The term is "What rock have you been HIDING under". 4 Unelected crooks? What rock have you been hiding under JJ? Ever heard of Euro Elections? I mean, how did Fuck Face Farage become an MEP in the first place? As for actual unelected crooks, how about Brexit Prime Minister Theresa May? May committed war crimes in Yemen (But don't worry, nobody white was hurt), and she raped the British poor with Austerity. But hey, she may be scum but she's British scum, eh? 5 "The sooner the EU goes down the tubes the better, and that goes for every country in Europe?" What a philistine you are. The Treaty of Vienna in 1815 created the United Kingdom Of The Netherlands, though Britain had suggested a separate Belgium. The Walloons in what later became Belgium were Catholics, and resented the imposition of a Protestant Dutch king. Revolution broke out in 1830, following one in France and, at the London Conference of 1830, Britain and France proposed the creation of a new country. This occurred in 1831, with the condition that Belgium should remain independent, guaranteed by Britain in 1839, which had implications in 1914.

      I agree with the personal view in principle, BUT…..
      My personal opinion is that Most politicians start off genuinely wanting to change the system for the better for everyone, however then they get all the freebies, ‘support donations’ tax relief and whatever other benefits and that endeavour to make a better place for all changes to absolute greed and selfishness partly because of temptation partly because other political beneficiaries (politician businesses or whoever) don’t want their very comfy ivory towers to come crumbling down, although we are a democracy, we are as a people not in charge therefore not a democracy in truth and fact.

    • @smexijebus
      @smexijebus Před 2 lety

      @@edwardgrist6920 That's true, but I think it's far more insidious and corrupt than just greed. Most politicians, good or bad, eventually run into the 'core group' at the top once they get big enough. Far more convincing than simple money and drugs is underage children, blackmail, and threats of assassination of you or family. And not just threats, either. I mean we've all seen coincidences but how many suicides does Hilary have to commit before everyone gets it?
      It almost always takes someone aggressive and crude and intelligent and crafty to not get crushed, much less stand up to it.
      Also, I personally think democracy by itself is a rather awful political system. It's no different than mob rule. But I'm guessing you were using it to mean 'voting system of any sort' as it's more or less understood today. But I always remember the old saying, "It's like two wolves voting to eat one sheep". Sure the sheep's vote is counted but...

      @@markclayden7654 I'm happy to be proved wrong, when and for which constituencies?
      I thought he stood only for European elections because he was effectively locked out of the UK due to no national coverage, and therefore an irrelevant presence even if he was elected... It was only BREXIT in 2016 that created a public awareness of him and even then he only threatened to stand in certain constituencies - not personally, but as UKIP and later the BREXIT party, please correct me if I'm wrong...

      NEVER pander to Snowflakes, my friend.If they have Unsubscribed then it just illustrates the whole problem with their mindset in that they do not want anyone to have an "alternative or differing view" so run away. Many are still bitter that The great British Public had enough of their BS and it was, especially, funny to see the endless wingeing and moaning after they lost and they tried to get another ballot, and if they had lost that then they would have found other reasons to keep on until they got their way. Reminds me of a few old Girlfriends...:)

    Ironic about Belgium since Britain created it essentially and we've fought in Flanders in every century just about since the early middle ages. We fought there in both world wars and both times slowed the German advance right down. Then they turned on us in the EU. Should have left them to speak German, enough of them joined the
    Waffen SS anyway.
