  • The US military has unleashed a wave of attacks targeting radar sites operated by Yemen's Houthi rebels after a merchant sailor went missing and the vessel he was on caught fire.
It’s the latest Houthi strike in the Red Sea corridor and comes as the US Navy faces the most intense combat it has seen since World War II.
Mohammed al-Basha at Navanti Group joined LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow to discuss the latest on the Houthis.

I think you forgot a little thing called Vietnam, where a number of U.S. ships were hit by shore fire, one destroyer was bombed, and U.S. PBRs and PCFs (swift boats) were in hundreds of gun fights an hundreds American sailors were killed and wounded. We launched thousands of carrier strikes and fired tens of thousands of naval gunfire rounds both in the north and south of the 17th parallel. Then we had a sizeable naval engagement with the Iranians during the 1980s.
