Passat B6 alarm location

Passat B6 alarm location - no audio - just a quick attempt at helping others.
Had to remove drivers wheel
Had to remove inner cowling
Hit the rivot off with lump hammer and chisel
Left other in place and bent unit down
You'll figure rest out I hope.

Wet internals most likely fella. There area its located is right next to a drain hole. Drain hole is above the speaker in the scuttle panel. Check drain hole for it being clogged cos it can cause a flow issue.

So is mine. I removed it this morning. I am going to post video on it. But basically I took off the whole front fender to get to it.
