  • CHR's doctors have experience treating thousands of women with DHEA and have found few side effects related to its use. In this video, Dr. Gleicher discusses those side effects, and why you should speak with your physician before supplementing on your own. Learn more about DHEA by visiting our website: bit.ly/2Qtslia

It got rid of my fatigue immediately. Within hours of my first dose. I know elderly women who have been taking it for decades. If your DHEA levels are low, there’s no reason to stop taking it! Most doctors don’t bother to check DHEA levels in blood work when patients complain of fatigue! The only Doctor who did this for me was a functional doctor. The conventional medical community is terribly incompetent in so many ways.

I just started DHEA (Natrol, 25mg once per day) supplementation a week ago. I am quite healthy and pay attention to what my body is doing/reporting/responding to. It is too early for any definitive analysis, but I have slept soundly the last three nights without using Benadryl and Tylenol to help. That's a record :), as I have used them as sleep aids for years. I also feel more settled in my mind. Less stress, if that makes sense. As for the 25mg dose - I learned over the last few years that less is almost always best, so 25mg is fine with me. You want to use small doses and give your body time to respond.

I took DHEA 3 months before starting my second egg retrieval (icsi), because first round I didn't got so many eggs and my DHEA-S +testosterone levels were low. I had so much faith that DHEA would help, but my second retrieval was worse. I mean, I can't say if it was because of DHEA or because I was one year older ...or maybe because the protocol slightly changed- but I also didn't felt so well taking DHEA; I got greasy hair, acne and more sweating 😳. I feel bummed after this second round and regret taking DHEA. It's true, we got one more egg than last time, but one embryo less and all 3 are 6-day low quality. Last time, without dhea, we had 4 5-day excellent quality (one miscarriage, one cp, 2 still frozen).

Solid video 👍🏽. I just watched another video by a Dr, a power point presentation. The research was saying that when taking DHEA orally that most of it gets converted to DHEA-S (S for sulphate if I recall correctly). She stated that sublingual, transdermal or submucosal are much better for effective administration. Well I just ordered capsules lol. I’m hoping that if I empty the contents and leave them in sublingually for several minutes will significantly increase absolutely. I’m taking them because I’m a late 30s male and want to lose fat, gain or maintain muscle and increase testosterone etc.

I am definitely not a doctor, but in my own personal experience and from talking to many other DHEA supplement users, 25mg. a day is the best and safest daily maintenance dose. And not to ever exceed 50mg. a day of DHEA. This goes for male or female. If you exceed 50mg. a day you will get alot more negative side effects, and the negative side effects will out weight the health benefits. Hope this helped.

From what i search about DHEA, it's not very useful for men since it has very low affinity on androgen receptors. I am also searching DHEA for my mom. She entered menopause a year ago and she have some trouble with focusing on a subject, tiredness etc.

Not sure if you care any more, but really this would depend on you and your body, so for example, if your over 40 you could probably do as many people say here a 25mg dosage indefinitely, however if your so what an enthusiast trying to get extra results from training, you could go to 100mg, however you would want to limit how long you do this for, as always time on = time off, currently around me i see people do all sort of stuff but most common 6months-1year on, followed by the same time off, other people who just take it with no testing knowledge which I DO NOT RECOMMEND, do 1 month on and 1 month off, this is probably the safest, if your just eye balling it, as always listen to your body! Talk to your doctor, otherwise good luck.

I'm the same way, however I have hardly any facial hair and not a lot of muscle mass at 27 y.o. I was a late bloomer and wanted to jumpstart my peak testosterone period I made the mistake of trying DHEA without doctors consultation, and I only used took 25 mg, about 5-6 times over the last few years. I experienced weigh gain in the waist, thighs, and have some breast tissue developing over one of my pectorals. at my age, I did not need DHEA replenishment. Do NOT take this unless you're over 40. it can have irreversible effects

So it's totally safe and legal but you need to pay a dr. to tell you you can try it 😂 I like how he starts explaining why you need a Dr. But then doesn't give a reaolson. So pompous
