  • Euro NCAP Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the Full Width test, 100% of the width of the car the car impact a rigid barrier at 50 Km/h. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 32 km/h into a rigid pole.

    This is truly amazing especially if you compare that 5 star rated Mercedes to 5 star rated Renault Scenic from 2003.
    I wonder when NCAP will add 6th star?

    We must keep in mind that the tests are conducted in a controlled speed.
    64km/hr in this case.... Overspeeding is still a threat... Drive safe..

      Lol ! You wanna drive at those speeds then that’s on you , Mercedes aren’t building armored cars just so irresponsible drivers have safety ! Driving is a huge responsibility . However ; this video should be an indication that this car will be safer than most other cars at higher speeds
