AWE: The Town With the Mysterious FISH.

Aawe is located 5.0 kilometers north of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, and 55 kilometers south of Ogbomoso. It's about two miles south-east of Oyo town. Aawe, like all Yoruba towns and cities, has a plethora of rivers ( sogidi ) and streams flowing north-south, nourishing the many farms, fishing enterprises, industries, and commercial ventures that have defined the majority of its people's profession.
Sogidi Lake is a popular tourist destination in Aawe, and I even saw people from Lagos on the day of my visit.

My granma is a mix of Aawe and Igbomina. I don't know much of her town/ village bit I remember she was so good to me when I was a child. She died few month after I arrived from abroad to Nigeria as a child.
