رمزي هيدموس مهندس أميركي لبناني الأصل هو الرئيس والمدير التنفيذي لشركة Immersion Corporation، وهوالرئيس السابق لشركة نوكيا للهواتف المحمولة. أمضى هيدموس ١٧ عاماً في Dolby Laboratories وتولّى مجموعة متنوّعة من الأدوار، كان آخرها مسؤول العمليات، حيث ساعد في النمو من شركة خاصة بقيمة ٧٢ مليون دولار أميركي إلى شركة عامة مزدهرة تبلغ قيمتها مليار دولار أميركي تقريباً. قاد جهود الابتكار، بما في ذلك تطوير المعايير لأقراص DVD و BluRay. كان هيدموس لاعباً رئيسياً في الإطلاق الناجح لصيغة DVD. عام ١٩٩٩ نال هيدموس جائزة "إيمي" للنّهضة العلمية والتّكنولوجية.

Ramzi Haidamus is the President and CEO of Immersion Corporation, the leading innovator of touch feedback technology, also known as haptics. A seasoned product development expert and trained engineer, Haidamus spent 17 years with Dolby Laboratories, which he helped to grow from a USD 72 million private business into a nearly USD 1 billion thriving public company. During his tenure at Dolby, he held a variety of roles, most recently with chief operating officer-level responsibility. He has led innovation efforts, including those related to Dolby's technological roadmaps and standards development for DVD and BluRay. Haidamus was a key player in the successful launch of the DVD format.
