The road used to share its allowance with a local narrow gauge railway, which has gone long ago, and the remnants of this railway line are the numerous tunnels reused by the road when it splits.
I love geography, and also studied French as a language in high school, so I really loved this video. You can see why there is a stone wall closest to the edge of the valleys - otherwise there would be some nasty accidents.

Wees gerust Robert,het zijn daar stevige rotsen.Als meermaals geweest met de moto,prachtige onbekende streek met de gorges du cians vlakbij.
Film needs to run more slowly. No need to make viewers feel sea sick from all the left/right at high speed.
