    Just bought a set of Led through this channel for my Samsung un50ju6500f repair and followed this video step by step. Guess what, my TV is back on alive! Their Engineer, Randy, helped me with the diagnosis and figured out the Led boards were bad. They show caring to their customers; their works are appreciated 😊

    Awesome. Just bought the parts from you guys and did mine following this. It works great. Mine was only 55" so I wouldn't have thought so much difference. The large metal shield over the scan drive boards might have been easier to remove when it was on its face. I had a TON more adhesive tape. The LED strips were eight assemblies and they connect to a bus not wires. Took me a second to see how to get them to release. Press the two metal central tabs while pulling outward. Great video.

    Really got to thank you guys for making this video. I been on the fence about replacing the leds for our Samsung 4K for the last year. Finally decided to visit your site today and order the strips. Think I can not goof this up too bad so thanks again for putting this video out there.

    It seems like an easy job, my backlight died after 3 years with this tv I bought after moving out, no warranty so I'm gonna give it a shot. Liked.

    Super simple, I didn't have the glass cups so it is possible without them, just be very careful and make sure the screen is supported in the middle at all times.

    Thanks for the video Jimmy. I managed to replace the new backlight led strips. But even with the new backlight led strips, there's still a few white circles on my Samsung tv screen. It's not as much white circles as before but there's still a few. The white circles are more faint now though. Is it normal? Could it be that the faint white circles are actually screen burn in because i took about a year to replace the damaged backlight led strip with a new one. Thanks...

    Greetings from Puerto Rico, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us.
    I would like to ask you for your help if you can.
    I have a Samsung tv model UN49M5300AF that had a bad LED strip, so I boughted the whole set by mail but the carrier bent the package to fitted in the mail box. I managed to save 2 strip but when finish to install them all the lights are just blinking, What I did wrong? I also forgot the order in which the two plastic sheets are going in reference to the screen and the sides too. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Respectfully yours,

      Im watching this now,and wondering if it's worth the bother? My Samsung 55" has a purple spot. Was it something that you did wrong to cause your repair to fail?

    • @AnthonyGrenier
      @AnthonyGrenier Před 3 lety +3

      @@MrSanesaw i followed the tutorial, to the letter, when i removed the outer screen with the suction cups the ribons attached to the bottom/back wouldnt line back up again no matter what i did. The screen was out slightly no matter how I tried to line it back up. But when I put it all back together, somewhere half the screen stopped working. Im thinking when popping the 4 ribbons on the bottom, one may have torn. Thats the only thing I can think of. Im pretty tech savvy but this is not as easy as it looks.

      @@AnthonyGrenier Thanks for your insight Tony! I ended up replacing the Samsung with a Sony OLED 65" that Im very pleased with. I still have the 55" Samsung...The repair sounds easier than it looks! It has one purple patch above where the HDMI ports are located in the rear of the set.It's a heat issue I was told by a local tech. I don't think I'll bother trying this repair it now! I'm mechanically inclined, but it sounds like it's best left to someone who done it before. The repair shop told me the repair cost as much as I paid for the set. I was very disappointed in this Samsung! The ironic thing is I still have my 42" Samsung Plasma purchased in 2006 for $2300 in my family room. It works perfectly!

    I have never done this repair before, but I am planning out how to do it before I start. When removing the LCD layer, I know that it's delicate and also collecting dust on it can be a problem. Instead of laying it down off to the side horizontally somewhere (and picking up a lot of dust), what do you think if I were to set it up vertically, resting it against a wall? This would keep dust off off it for the most part. I doubt this would damage the LCD panel, but I've never handled one before. What do you think? Is this OK for the panel as long as it's not laying on the ribbon cable?

    I purchased and replaced led light strips on my Samsung UN50H6201AFXZA through ShopJimmy. My tv screen had no picture showing but showed faintly with a flashlight. TV also did not have lights showing through or under back cover. After led light strip replacement tv shows lots of white light, and vertical lines of all colors. There is a bar of good picture on the top 2" of screen. Wondering where to go from here. One question I have is what to do with small white plastic rivets, your video does not describe reusing them and I realized the rivets are not reusable when putting things back together. Can I tape the strips to the reflective paper? Right now I have rivets that have fallen out which I can see along the bottom of the screen through the white light. Have you seen this picture problem before?

    see any boards with any issues with being shorted from a visual inspection. I don't see any backlights so should I assume it is the backlights? Thank you.

      If your not getting power or standby light on Samsung LED try unplugging the LED cord that runs from the yellow power board through the back of the silver panel and power the TV on. If your standby light comes back on its a burnt out LED strip. Saves a lot of time and money avoiding jacking around with boards if the LED is bad. It only takes 1 of the 8 sections going bad to shut down the whole TV.

    I have a RLDED4633A-C RCA TV with the no image but sound syndrome. I did the flashlight test and I see image. I tested all my voltages and are ok. I checked for voltage at LED connector from power supply and have a constant 94 v. I did this test with and without LED connection plugged. My question is... is 94 v the right voltage? I did notice when measuring and turning on TV the voltage starts up around 200 or so volts and goes to 94 v. (Both plugged or not plugged). I’m hesitant to go further in to check the LEDs because right now, I’m not sure if 94 v is correct. Any help would be awesome thank you.
