    Shelly Shannon was convicted in a Kansas State court for the attempted murder of George Tiller by shooting him in his car in Wichita, Kansas In 1993.She was also convicted in U.S. federal court for ten attacks at abortion clinics using arson or acid.
    Although Eric Rudolph is mostly know for the Centennial Olympic Park bombing during the 1996 Olympics he also three other bombings: one of an abortion clinic in Atlanta on January 16, 1997. Two of the Otherside Lounge of Atlanta, a lesbian bar, on February 21, 1997, injuring five. And of an abortion clinic in Birmingham, Alabama on January 29, 1998, killing a Birmingham police officer, who was off-duty but working as security in uniform, and critically injuring nurse Emily Lyons. Rudolph's bombs contained nails, which acted as shrapnel.
    On July 29, 1994, Paul Jennings Hill approached the Ladies Center, an abortion clinic in Pensacola, Florida. When he spotted clinic doctor John Britton and his bodyguard, retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel James H. Barrett, outside the clinic, he fired on both of them at close range Both Britton and Barrett died; Barrett's wife, June, was also wounded. During his trial he tried to motion to use affirmative defense as justification in court but was denied. He lost and was sentenced to death.
    On May 31 2009: When Dr. George Tiller (who survived an assisnatiom attempt from Shelly Shannon) left worship service at the Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita, where he was serving as an usher. He was shot by Scott Philip Roder at point blank range in the head. Tiller was wearing body armor as he had been since 1998, when the FBI told him he was being targeted by anti-abortion militants. I should alsp note that while in jail was placed in solitary confinement for 45 days for issuing further threats of violence during a telephone interview with anti-abortion activist David Leach.
    On November 27 2015, Robert Lewis Dear JR an extremist evangelical christian opened fire at a planned parenthood clinic in Colorado Spring, Colorado. He began firing and pursued a crawling man through the parking lot and into the clinic. described a man with "holes in his chest" stagger into a nearby grocery store a few minutes later, saying he had been shot in the parking lot between Planned Parenthood and the store. A standoff would insue with the police and the SWAT team came in, the whole ordeal lasted for about five hours. There were also propane tanks found around Dears car and the authorities said they believed he intended to blow up the swat tanks (although it could have been intended for the building.) court ordered mental evaluation tests were done on Dear determined he was incompetent to stand trial, and is currently in a Colorado state mental hospital.
