hi yes it is the wd610 engine! the 4 creeper speeds only work if the pto is in and the pto has to speeds 540/1000 plus you have your hi/lo box but the gear stick has to be pushed over too the right and down towards the seat, if you understand me? if you like the dutra you should look on the dutra forum you can find out many things there! the guys are friendly and helpfull
I think the difference is in the back axle for the steyr and perkins as both have higher revs than the csepel ! I could be wrong ,but this is what I believe . anyhow the csepel engine has more pulling power than the other 2 engines
Hi, I'm a big fan of dutra tractors, I remember one working on tree felling and transport about 15 years ago - what a mighty tractor! I have couple questions about steyr engined dutra - is this engine have 105 horsepower or 120 because I heard different informations about it - and secondly - what type of gearbox it have because again I heard that dutras with steyr engine have gearbox with 12/4 gears and "standard" dutras with csepel engine have only 6/2 - is that true? Thanks.
OK thanks for replying. I saw the video and I think i'm getting it now, but I'm also curious about the max speed of your steyr dutra? I readed somewhere the max speed depends on engine used and its max rpm. As far as I know your dutra have steyr wd 610 engine with 2300 rpm, am I right? Btw that 4 creeper gears is independent or its just first four gears?
hi , its 105hp and has the dutra gear box 6/2 and 4 creeper speeds . but also my steyr has another lever connected to the part before the gearbox which also gives a high / low in the gears ! I am not sure how many dutra /steyr have this part not many I think. so really it does have 12/4 not sure if this extra lever does anything with the creeper speeds as I have never tried! so to answer this question they can have 6/2 or 12/4 depends if the dutra has this other lever or not. hopr this helps

you can see this extra lever on my video (dutra steyr) at 2.46 to the left side below the dash board ! this is what gives the extra gears as such !
