Hey Maria, just a couple thoughts on the soaps. I think the only thing "wrong" with sodium lauryl sulfate is that it has the potential to possibly cause skin irritation if you have sensitive skin. But if you've never experienced irritation with regular soap, then you're fine. There's a lot of pseudo-science around skincare and a lot of the ingredients "clean beauty" says are bad are actually normal, harmless ingredients. It's similar to when people say chemicals are bad, but that's nonsense because everything is chemicals.
I highly recommend the channel LabMuffinBeautyScience. She's a skincare youtuber and also a professional chemist who gives her unbiased and scientific opinions on products' ingredients.
I love LabMuffinScience as well! She presents evidence-based information without getting in click-baity, trendy stuff. I’ve learned a lot about sunscreen filters from her.
there are so many legit board-certified derms on here now - thanks to them the awareness of daily sun protection and no-nonsense but evidence based drugstore products have become mainstream.
I can't believe there are still people so easily influenced by fear-mongering and corporate cash-grab under the guise of 'clean beauty' . They have no basic scientific knowledge, can't even pronounce the words, but sure are confident that those ingredients are 'evil' .
SLS is an extremely stripping sulfate that can dry out skin. This may cause skin irritation and other problems.

I love when you do hauls. I rewatch your old ones all the time when I want to relax, but not get sleepy. I think the combo of like girl talk, with hand movements, and a natural voice really work! Plus you always find the coolest stuff! I also always listen to items at stores, then I should my partner the stuff that sounds good 😂

Loved the bracelets sounds.
L'Occitane is the best body care brand I've tried so far. The shea butter line: hand cream, shower oil and body lotion. Kiehl's Creme de Corps is also very moisturizing albeit a little greasy (I buy 1L of it during Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in July).
Trader Joe’s hand cream in the tube is reminiscent of L’Occitane hand cream (maybe a dupe?) and both are favorites for rich hand cream and glorious fragrance

Eucerin Urea Repair Plus 5% urea hand cream is by far the most effective hand cream I’ve ever used. My husband was prescribed Eucerin due to his severe eczema and it worked so well for him and so I started using it for myself because it worked so well and there is nothing that works like this cream.

I once had to fight to stay conscious at the fabric store because the person cutting my fabric for me was wearing clinky bracelets! Oh my god, if you did a sassy fabric store attendant roleplay (like your fashion store video from way back in the day!), I would about die… Jewelry clinking, nails “unintentionally” tapping on the cutting table as you handle the fabric, folding the fabric after its cut off the bolt… 🤤
My Mother-in-Law had plantar fasciitis. I did a bunch of reading online, and vionic shoes were recommended over and over again. I bought her a few pairs for Christmas, including their slippers. It completely solved her pain and now she can even wear regular shoes again without problems. They are pricey, but worth a try if you're suffering.
PS, please don't get rid of either purse. They sound amazing! Have you thought about doing like a poshmark or something along those lines after you're done with a prop for a video? I would totally buy the cork purse from you!
I can vouch for Vionic shoes as well! They saved me while I healed from surgery and they have some cute girly styles!

Maria you should try a hand cream with a lanolin (fat derived from sheep’s wool) base! Even pure lanolin is soooo good for dry skin because it mimics the skin’s natural oil barrier. Also the cork tapping sound is divine!! ❤️❤️
have you tried cows fat? called tallow? works amazingly! Will try lanolin! Have any recommended sources?

I know a lot of west coast moms love the pandora charm bracelets! They’re a bit pricey in my opinion but honestly not TOO bad, perfect for birthday and holiday wishlists.

Aveeno cream is recommended by Dermatologists. It is fantastic on my very dry, sensitive skin and hands. I worked in a Dermatology department and it’s been recommended for years. You should be able to buy it in most supermarkets :)

I too have been searching high and low for a really nourishing hand cream. The one I use is the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream. It has no scent, but SUPER hydrating! Highly recommend

O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream is AMAZING. I have struggled with dry hands (and bottoms of my feet) for so long and it works like magic! And it doesn't have that ingredient you mentioned.
