I don’t play online but the story was amazing, invasions is fun so far and obviously towers is still fun, and that’s enough content to keep me happy lol, he got me to buy it and I love it so far 💯🤙
Jev got me into fighting games with the MK11 videos. I played the hell out of it and was a half decent scorpion / kung lao. They're really fun and have a pretty incredible amount of depth
Liu Kang is another character where sometimes spending bar makes you do less damage, characters like sub, liu, and ashrah are 100% more mixup characters with good pressure depending on your kameo

Sub zero is tricky to balance In this game specifically. One over buff and this character can completely run ontop of any other character
Watch Jev start kombat league and turn into the worlds best sub somehow, even now compared to a few videos ago it looks like he's comfortable and playing a lot better. Keep up the great work as always Jev!!

I think the damage fall off is happening bc of both Sareena's 4 hits and freezing. Iirc damage fall off is based on number of hits, and in previous games I think a freeze added 3 hits to the damage calculator internally. Obviously Sub Zero's damage is still super low tho

You prolly won’t see this but you can react to all of johnnys overheads. Hit up practice mode and you will be able to deal with him much more easily. Johnny’s real pressure is in his plus frames

I wanted to main subzero, his combos are cool looking and he’s a classic awesome character, getting sub 30 damage with his combos is very frustrating especially with Kung Lao doing the same string twice and then a special move is over 32% without meter or kameo
Mk 1 when jev is playing makes it much better.

Kung Lao also does less damage with his enhanced grab move, but to be fair it gives you the ability to extend your string

I play kitanna and she can lend some crazy damage like up to 56%. But it is insanely hard to get some thing that high. On a regular basis I usually get about 35%. But the fact she has no overheads makes landing a single punch to start a combo a huge chore.

jev you should use sonya to kombo off that low string you like so much, plus maybe it could combo off the amplified air drop, she might be a weak kameo but your using sub so i dont think you care about meta much so she might be a fun mix up on
Jev don't worry about optimal DMG, you're DMG is fine. Also you should learn the Cyrax corner combo bcuz in some MUs, the Cyrax pick is better than general Sareena.
