At my first architect office I worked at many years ago, they had wonderful macros for changing layers quickly. I'd like to re-create that. This will help! Thank you.

May I ask how do you store user input in a variable using Macros please? For example, how would you store the X,Y,Z coordinates of a point that a user has clicked on the screen, with the intention of using that same point later on in the Macro? I can see that @ can be used to store the first point, but what about storing any points after that? I have briefly looked at DIESEL expressions, but from what I can see they can only be used for toggling things on and off. Do I need to learn AutoLISP in order to store and use more than one variable? Sorry for the long message

i use quickkeys...not buttons. How can i translate this to a quick key? For instance, i created a macro (thanks to you!) for setting the layer back to 0. I would love to just hit the "0" key to use this command, but im at a loss. any suggestions?

I am trying to make sketch macro (autocad LT 2020)
^C^C_sketch;T;P;I;1
that would make in theory, sketch with polyline and increments would be set to 1, but for whatever reason, i cant get it work, always asks for increments by specifing second increment point.
Without increment set in macro, it does the same:
^C^C_sketch;T;P weather i use ; at the end or not, it doesnt metter either
