    Fully agree with points 1 to 4. I'm Japanese, but I couldn't even last a year in Tokyo. If I were to live somewhere, the countryside is definitely better. There's mountains and the sea, and nature is wonderful. Tokyo is more like a theme park; it's not a place for people to live.

    Precisely where in NY can you find an apartment that has a gym and pool, that's NOT shoebox, for $1,000/month? Have you actually ever been to NY? Also, Tokyo is on the coast of Japan. Hence there is a place called Tokyo Bay. Just like NY, there are areas where you cannot swim in the ocean.
    I can't think of an *intelligent* person complaining that Japanese is spoken primarily in Japan.

    My 2 cents: Tokyo has no pros compared to other cities such as Osaka, Yokohama, Fukuoka except for the fact more festivals, concerts etc will be there and most high level jobs are in Tokyo but let's be real now for a moment. Most foreigners don't do these jobs, they do low level jobs. The list of cons on the other hand is long. Higher cost of living, more crowded, ridiculous queues at restaurants, smaller apartments, people are more stressed out and cold, city is so big it takes you forever to get into real nature.

    Bro, I want to comment positively so I can pass on information instead of the opposite. There are tons of reasons to not live in Tokyo but yours I didn`t fully get. I do hope you do more research though. Regarding earthquakes, all of Asia experiences earthquakes. That includes Bali and KL. They don`t get them as often as Tokyo and that is true. However all of Asia gets them. The biggest difference is that the majority of Tokyo has earthquake resisitent housing. Most buildings are made that way by law. During the major earthquake during 3/11 the majority of Tokyo was fine structurally. If that happened in other countries the devestation would be worse. Housing : only apartments in the yamanote circle near the most famous places are expensive and small beyond 1000 USD. An apartment for 1000 USD would actually pay for twice the space I already have which is 2 rooms. Weather : Tokyo has 4 seasons. You came to Tokyo during Obon week which is literally a nation wide vacation time. I will stop there. I hear you on some things but it`s better to put out info instead of just feelings on the web with more in depth info.

    • @peaceloveShu
      @peaceloveShu  Před 23 dny

      @@bruhadesigns If I was there I’d prefer to live near the most famous places otherwise it would defeat the purpose of being there (for me). And living outside of the circle, I would assume it takes more time to commute to the “most famous places” (correct me if I’m wrong) which I also consider to be inconvenient. I’d preferably like to stay within a 25 minute commute of Shibuya. So I’m sure there are more affordable places but not in the region I’m looking for, with the amenities that I’m looking for. If so, definitely show me! Nonetheless I appreciate you taking a positive approach, I don’t know everything so you sharing your knowledge is helpful. Just speaking on my experience and some facts, not necessarily feelings. Thanks for watching and commenting family! 🇯🇵🤙🏾

    Great place to be a tourist but not fun living/working in Tokyo as a salaryman. Its going to get hotter and more humid in Asia and globally, theres also typhoon season so its warm gross rain with 90+ weather. Kyoto is a perfect mix of nature, traditional and modern but its getting crowded because everyone is leaving their towns and outskirts for the big cities and job opportunities despite the vast amount of versatile transportation, countryside is just for vacations and the elderly. Most foreigners have also said they will always feel like an "outsider" despite learning the language or living in Japan for many many years unless you start a family and those kids are "acknowledged". Combined with strict immigration policies, theres a reason why birth rates are declining in all these top tier modern countries with a homogenous population, (korea,japan,hongkong,china etc) people are too busy working and not enough government benefits to start a family, its happening globally but north america and europe have millions of immigrants to replace the aging population. These are still great places but maybe lose its charm and safety in the next 20-30 years because they need to make hard choices now or its going to keep free falling in their economy and dying future.

You are holding a camera at arms length and the damn focal point in clear transparent glasses. Imagine wating a CZcams video on a 65 inch screen and it being overwhelmed by glasses and then hearing "bro" every 22 seconds. That is a description.....it is NOT "hate." YOU are not a member of the KKK. My comments are NOT hate. Also, I am sending a clip of an elderly Japanese man whom is behaving like a clown on a train: instagram.com/reel/C_E5RwvS7AL/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
      YOU cannot fight a Japanese person in their country. You will be arrested and detained for 13 days without bail. Me "telling" this is NOT "HATE." YOU need to understand that some Japanese people will trip out and behave irrationally but YOU have to keep your cool.

    no hate but alot of these cons are pretty manageable, outside of america not everybody has pools or king size beds and spacious apartments. the earthquakes and travel stuff is spot on though

    Yoo man, I'm a black man from Germany and I would also like to visit Japan one day. Now I have heard some things about some specific people called gaijin hunter, who are looking for foreigners for some special reasons, for example they just want to have a mixed race baby and then leave you afterwards. I wanted to ask you what are your thoughts about them and have you encountered a gaijin hunter so far? Do you consider it as another reason, not to stay in Japan long term?
    Btw nice video bro, keep it up the good work 👍🏾

      @@SamyL_ What’s up man! I personally have not experienced that, maybe it’s because I have only been there short term (max a week). But I would probably be able to decipher whether she’s a good woman or not and avoid if necessary. Wouldn’t let that specific reason influence me not staying long term, maybe the dating scene in general though. Appreciate you watching and commenting bro! 🇯🇵🤙🏾

      I live in Tokyo and I would say that you should not worry too much about it. Blacks are not exactly in high demand here. in fact, locals tend to steer clear of it.

      I'm half Japanese, have family there. Wouldn't live in Tokyo. I have family in Akita, Chiba and kashiwa. I would live in Akita, it's pretty rural but probably not foreigner friendly there just being honest. Go visit kashiwa in Chiba. Tokyo is way too dense

      Thank you for your answers, guys! Yeah I see, so it's not everyone like that, maybe just a low percentage of the population. I'm glad about that, it gives the opportunity to find a sincere woman, although it might be hard to find the right girl.

    I travel abroan a lot too. America is the best country on earth. People can hate on it all they want but noone actually ever leaves because america is amazing. And the Japanese would beg for usa visa 😅 thats why we have to start protecting america rather than trying to degrade and change it.
