The Iron Giant got me at the end. Pure nostalgia and a feeling of it coming full circle that he got to meet Superman. The game being F2P means that if for some reason it flops in some way then you don't really lose out on money either so I'm willing to give it a shot
Is awesome that they found a way to designed Tom and Jerry fight sets so accurate to their character, their move sets consists of Tom just trying to hit Jerry and anyone who gets hit in the process was by accident; pretty clever artistically if you ask me.
They put an emphasis on characters working together with their skills and I hope it’s not exclusive to characters who have connections at least like Batman and Superman. So if they get the character synergy and maps down it could be fun

I'm the same generation as AngryJoe, Adventure Time is a must watch for all, it takes me back to when I was a kid and there were shows like Ren and Stimpy or The Moomins (cartoon). I'd rate it over Rick and Morty but that's my personal taste.

I actually got access for the previous playtest. I was under NDA. This time luckily there is no such issue. I can say this game is fun. The rollback netcode is wonderful! There were slight hitches but overall the online was a beauty when playing with anyone. I played a couple characters and everyone felt fun. Sure, its free to play, but they did a wonderful job making each character feel unique and having their own playstyles.
Free to play? All platforms? Voice acting? WB franchises? Which technically includes things like matrix, dune, harry potter, certain middle earth properties, mad max, mortal combat. If the gameplay is there it could genuinely make for some insanely good competition in the fighter market.
Great line up to start with to keep fans of old and new interested. Surprisingly no Matrix, mad max, or Harry potter but I guess they have to save some characters for a dlc roster.
Near the end of the Multiversus video at around 2:38 you can see three more shimmering lights in the background. That makes me think at least three more characters will be revealed before launch.
Two characters that I really, *really* hope get added to this game are Samurai Jack (which might be possible, idk if they need to work something out with Adult Swim for that one) and Rose Quartz (yeah, I know Steven’s in the game already but it’s not like this’ll be canon or anything but I love Rose and I’d love to have her be playable at some point)
