We are a young Australian couple raising our six beautiful children aged 9, 8, 7, 6, 6, 6! That's right.. with the surprise addition of our sweet baby triplets, we had six children in three years!
We are now happy to announce the twins arrival five years later after the triplets in October 2020!

I’ve noticed the way you speak with your children inspires them to talk more. This is important and quite hard to explain to parents. I have been teaching year 5+6 for several years now and when it comes time to write persuasive texts, some children find it difficult to expand on their ideas, giving statements but no supporting ideas. The prompts and questions you use would be a great place to start for many of these children. Some examples from this video are:
Did you like being in a room on your own? Why not?
It would hurt, unless (key word, challenging their thinking) you fell onto another cloud!

I love that your kids all share together. It’s so good for them. People on our channel seem to lose the plot if any of our kids share, which I find so weird. Since when do kids need their own room? Our twins have shared most of the time and even now they have their own rooms but spend all day in one room together.
I personally think each child needs their own room with a bed, desk and clothing storage unit. If two siblings request to share, that’s fine, but otherwise, they all need their own private space! My brother and I shared for about a year when we were 4.5 years old and nearly 7, otherwise separate rooms all the way!

@@louisacoote2337 I don't think kids absolutely need their own room. It's all about the values of the family unit. Parents that prioritize individuality will behave in ways that promote individuality and their kids will want that too. Parents that care more about collectivity will behave in ways that promote that and their kids will want it too. I shared a room with my little sister for a year and wasn't a fan, my sister and I had our own hobbies and habits and cared too much to compromise. My childhood friend on the other hand, she shared a room with her younger brother until she turned 18 and loved it, but they were doing everything together and compromising was their way of life. It's all about the upbringing, imo.

All the children are so Gorgeous, and so healthy looking…… it’s lovely to hear Pearly chatting away, I still laugh when I remember Pearl telling us about the car wash and the giraffe Pooh 🤣🤣🤣 that particular video was so funny I was creased up…God bless her ….I have 2 sets of twins, one set of identical girls and a set of un~identical boys, with 13 months between them 🤦🏼♀️ I nearly died when they scanned me and told us it was another set of twins, I prayed for some extra arms and stocked up on headache tablets🤣 👯♀️👯♀️
WOW!! I know as mother's we manage, but with two sets of twins and only a year apart, how did you do it or how are you doing it? I have four children as well. My two oldest were 2 years apart, third was 4 years later, and youngest was 5 years later. With the oldest two only 2 years apart, it was a struggle. I couldn't imagine two newborns and two one year olds. I hope you stocked up really well on the headache pills and nappies. Lol
@@jazzyj4765 I know right lololol, it wasn’t easy,…. You know how Ro carries 2 babies around in his front and back papoose? that was me! All day long with the babies, my mum helped me a lot in the baby days and of course my husband was very good too, when I look back (the girls are now 10 and the boys are 9) I really don’t know how we did it but we did and they are all lovely and healthy now, I know they are all a blessing to us and I’m grateful for that but darn, it was very hard work i must admit….. I think we were in total shock when they told me more twins were on the way!😮 lol ….xxxx
I love watching blogs when it’s summer for you while it’s winter for me because I get to watch bright sunny hopeful weather while it’s icy and below zero outside my door! It’s a pleasant reminder that the sunshine will return haha!

Sylvie reminds me so much of Henry when he was a tiny baby. I’ve been eating curried egg sandwiches lately too! They’re so delicious to me. I love the little sound she made when you handed her her portion
Wow that’s hot!! It doesn’t get that hot in the Chicagoland area but it was -4F this morning and supposed to be -10F tomorrow morning 🥶!! Hope everyone likes the new bedroom arrangement should work out nicely for when the new baby comes! You can put the twins in their own room too!

I feel like I say this every vlog but I can't believe how grown up the triplets are getting! Lovely to hear Pearl chatting away and her hair clips are so cute 🥺Feels crazy that its 40°C for you, its so cold where I am, that heat sounds lovely to me right now haha!
I love how intuitive you all are! With each bedroom rearranging you have all avoided placing the added bed in what is called the ‘coffin position’ in Feng Shui. That is having the feet pointing toward the door. It is a very real thing too. When my kids were small I had my youngest son’s bed in that direction, he was always tired and unwell. When I changed the position of his bed that all changed almost instantly. It was amazing to see him happy and full of energy again.
I would only suggest to put some sort of head board between the bunk bed and the window in the big boys room as that can be an energy drain too.
I am feeling you Chloe with the heat. I am in Perth too, it has been crazy hot!!
Can I just say, you are such a good mom. And I knew that the minute Sylvie split her sandwich in half and only wanted to eat the middle and you're like "that's ok if that's the way you want to eat it." SO MANY moms are picky and controlling about how their kids eat. Sylvie is so happy to have freedom and a good relationship with her food.
I cant believe how well behaved and kind all these kids are! You can tell that they genuinely love one another, it is beautiful

Little Sylvie reminds me a lot of Baby Otto and Baby Henry. Cosmo is so cute, picking apart his sandwich and sceptically eating it. Don't worry about the triplets sharing a room, they won't be spending much of their day in there anyway, won't they?

Egg and lettuce have been my favourite sandwiches for over 60 years now. I still always buy them when ever I am out for lunch. All the kiddos are growing so much.

Lovely that they are reunited! Just a heads up though, a mattress should never be placed straight on the floor as it means air cannot circulate leading to a build up of bacteria. Just some slats laid on the floor under the mattress will prevent this 👍

I think it's great that the triplets are back to sharing a room. They share a bond and I think as long as they want to be in a room together, they should be.
My oldest son and daughter(they're 2 years apart) shared a room until my son was 13 and my daughter was 11. My daughter then shared a room with her sister, whose 4 years younger. It was an adjustment, but after a month or so they did really well together.
Maybe in a few years all the girls can share a room. Although, with an almost 5 1/2 year age difference between Pearl and the baby girl coming next month, it may not work out. Who knows..
Will Cosmo and Sylvie now share a room, so you'll have space in your bedroom for the new baby? Maybe the youngest 3 can share a room.
Have you ever thought about buying a triple bunk bed? Or, even building one? I'm thinking with the bottom bunk practically being on the floor, adding a 3rd bunk on top would fit, even with a low ceiling. With it being so high, I'd definitely have the older children on the very top. I've seen a family here on CZcams with 13 kids who has two triple bunk beds in both their girls room and boys room. The kids rooms aren't very big and when you walk in there's a triple bunk to your right and to your left. They also incorporated built in units with space for cubby boxes in the closets. I feel that large families always find and create a special space to make it comfortable for their children.

It will work. We were 6 people in a 2 bedroom house. It wasn’t bad while we were young.
My daughter had a high bed… also with a railing. For safety we had put an extra mattress on the bottom. She also fall out of bed a couple of time. So we saw the bed lower.

We have had a string of Extreme Cold Warnings here in Canada (central Ontario) already this year, called any time it's below -32C, so if you are wondering where the cool air is, we have ALL of it. I wouldn't trade it for 40C though. 🥵
My brother kept falling out of bed until he was 18, it was quite hilarious actually 🙈 and he used to sleep like some wild animal, he ended up in the weirdest positions 😂
