Even though he jokes about marriage, you can tell he and his wife are secure and happy in their relationship. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to make these jokes with such a light heart. It's very nice to see someone who is genuinely funny but doesn't joke about bathroom humor, sex, or profanity.

I think a 40 year marriage is like a 40 min bull fight. The man is the bull and the woman the matador. In the beginning the bull full of testosterone comes running out ready to take on the world and not take any crap from anyone including the wife. However, after 30 or 40 years of marriage (or 40 mins of constant battering for the bull ) the old guy just doesn’t want to argue anymore. He’s in his 80’s, his shoulders have slumped and his head is down and she’s still at him and all he can muster is yes dear or no dear. The matador has broken him to the point where like the bull he just says fuck it I can’t be bothered, just kill me. Ha
