- And eyes and teeth as well. Come, Wizard, scry this vid-tome of demonic knowledge and be transformed.
This was a large step, the model is packed with detail and it all needs to be done well, it's for the Golden Demon no less. But it takes what it takes, a large model like this can be done. I am eager to full assemble it though, I'll have to be patient and stay the course. I'm also working with the fantastic Warpaints Fanatic line coming soon from The Army Painter.

Really good video, love the honesty about “clocking some time” to get some models done due to the amount of effort and time that needs to be put in for an end result you happy with. You and Vince are the main reason my painting has progressed to a level I am ultimately happy with, so thank you
I agree 200% they are the true OGs of painting. Not to forget Duncan rhodes too though , thanks to his tutorials I was able to finally get started painting as it was intimitating at first.
Happy to hear this! Painting is a meditation of sorts and should be enjoyed for the act of doing it. Cheers!
Never thought I’d say it but that face is a thing of beauty.
So well done. The tones on the face is incredible
Haha, glad you enjoyed it!
i've been watching these videos to get a better idea on how to paint minis, thank you for this more detailed guide!
Happy to help!
Beautiful red on all of his skin. But what a monster to paint!
Hey Sam, thank you for sharing your process. It's so insightful!
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it!
Really love the commentary on this one. Your channel is a gem.
Im feeling this right now! Its been a foot slog painting up my necrons the past week or 2. It doesnt help I've been painting them all year in a paint challenge attempting to paint as much of my army as I can before their new codex arrives. Both luckily and unluckily it coming out next month. I wasnt expecting their codex so early in the edition when I started this challenge in January. Deep down I am happy they were an early book so I can stop this challenge at the end of the year. I still got the necron half of Indomitus to do as I wanted that box set to be the grand finale and its only fitting seeing as it was the first box set I ever bought when I started this hobby
Yea dude! Can't wait to see more!
Many thanks!
Amazing work, I been looking for the best angron tutorial, I bought him so I wanted so seek the best person who can catch angron's true colors, lovely job and your style making videos makes learning so much easy and creative with the way that you work out with the colors, thanks for your work ❤
Thanks man, I'm honored! More to come from Angron.
The epicentre of coolness ❤
😅
Professional as always.
Many thanks!
where is pt2?
He meant part 2, in the last video he said the next video would be the Skin so im assuming it was a typo!
Part 2 is still on Patreon. I'll release that eventually on CZcams. The video details the base out.
Amazing video
Thanks!
Thanks Sam.
Cheers, Chuck!
Do the pros ever use color-shifting paints? Or is that a major no-no?
I'll have to ask some. I think it's the uncontrolled nature of it. I can see situations where it's useful but they aren't common.
how do you paint that thin
like the pupils for example
hey got a like and sub for the great video! im about to do this one myself. i have speed paints and normally start with black prime then white drybrush before getting into colors. After watching your video and seein you use no white dry brush, is that just a speed paint thing or something you just skip? i am invested with the speed paints/army painter but dont want to ruin my primarch.
This is a different approach than slap chop, etc. I didn't paint this with speed paints, it's the new Fanatic range.
