I can still sing it and I'm seventy-two. I've been to the Robert Stolz Society in London. It comes from "Im weissen Rossl" which we need to see/hear with the 1931 orchestration. The Morbisch production was quite good. At Scarborough the lake was more visible & Franz-Josef sailed in on a steamer. Other composers who contributed to that score include Ralph Benatzky. The hotel Little White Horse is an actual place in the Tyrol on the lake (Wolfgangsee).
