I really felt that malding comment in the new event where you farm the Selena skin. Like holy damn, I'm having a harder time fighting those pesky shooting tripods compared to fighting the orb mother thing.
Also, totally agree with the voice acting. It will most definitely help with the visual novel presentation.
Have you completed yet? Those tripods are pretty annoying, wait til to get the stages with the Matrix Cubes 😭😭😭

Waiting for the PC client. Hope that Dark Souls comparison only means it's challenging, action seems more fluid and fast, like Bayonetta or DMC, which is my preference in action games and why I'm attracted to this game.
It's been 3 days since I've installed the game, and I'm really enjoying it so far. The combat reminded me of Honkai so, I thought it'd become boring but, it has more depth thanks to the random Orb gen, and also the way pgr focuses more on an individual character than the whole team shenanigans makes it more engaging for me. Not to mention the color palette differences make it really clear to notice enemy attacks.
PGR is getting even better and I’m here for it.
Unpopular opinion maybe? but I actually enjoy the lack of voice acting in the main story. I love that the Construct you've set as your companion can speak and I love the cast we have so far (Akira Ishida, hello??), but when it comes to the actual story, I read a lot faster than people talk and end up skipping voice lines anyways. Way too impatient to wait for them ending their sentences when I've already read them.
Also, I'm sure this saves a lot of space for people playing on slightly older mobile devices.
But either way, as a new player, I really like PGR so far. I like the way they paced it for us and that it doesn't feel as overwhelming on day 1 as, say, Honkai, even though it has many similar structures and things to do.
Finally another video by Mr. Xigbar! This looks pretty sweet! I might pick this up once FF7:FS finishes up here in a few weeks. T3 has certainly been taking my time too lol.

Man, I love this game, I usually only play like week or so then uninstall due to how boring most games are, but damn, this one is good... I played it for like 7 days now, and somehow managed to reach lv. 80, which is super fast asf, I also got several actually good playable characters through the gacha system, which is in my opinion, as far as mobile games are concern, it is extremely generous when it comes to free to play new players like me... the game mechanics are pretty simple and easy to understand, but the gameplay is pretty hard and it gets really intense most of the time, it really is mald inducing but despite all that it's still extremely fun and enjoyable to play... my only problem to this game, is that stamina runs out fast, and when it drains you will not have any way to progress in your levelling at all.
Also also, despite all odds, somehow, I managed to download it and actually played it quite decently on an 8 year old smartphone... which is just mind blowing.😮

skins even when casually playing can be unlocked aswell, as long as you keep doing dorm quests everyday.
very easy to do
though this process is painfully slow.
3 gold coins
1 gold coin is 1 daily quest and you have 5 everyday,
This is if you buy one per day cuz 1st buy discount, and i think 25 > 1 cosmetic smth i forgor
so thats 25x49 (if you save your gold coins for whatever reason)
bought myself a selena skin coz her inner queen is visible.
ALSO, it takes 3 months (shorter than most gacha games) To get a 6 star character,
Can get one in two weeks but they'll be very limited and have damage reduction in most stages, They have two banners that rotate,
One that only has 60 pity, and one that has 80 (a month of extra grinding 2.5K bc = 2 weeks wortth of grinding = 10 pulls)
It has an advantage which gives you a chance of getting an S rank character without having to reach pity, But its still RNG, so unless you're a masochist, Go for the 60 pity one, (you'll see it below the screen after checking the banner).
Also, Tanks are important, yes some may lack dmg but they eat enemy shields, Unless you play hardcore you need those shields down i believe they reduce dmg taken and will be immune to cc,
Roles other than tankers can take them down, But it'll be painfully slow making it hard.
Pick the characters you want, Like said it can be played casual, Build a team how you like it (triple tank troll)
Just a tip, Try to play the campaign as far as you can with whatever shit it gives you, no need to force yourself, But hear me out.
To unlock the stages you're gonna grind on so your characters aren't weak as shit you need to play the campaign to unlock them.
Sure after just a few you can unlock them but for the serum they take the loot is horrible. and it takes 16 hours (max amount of serum is 160) to refill all of it,
Plus it gives black cards.
But like i said play it casually if you'd like the game won't be greedy
signature weapons aren't needed unless you want that extra bit of dps for warzone, I main selena and since im a selena simp, i got her sig wep, one of the reason is that if you have extra orbs after usiing your ultimate you can just click the orbs (cuz it'll allign you for a 3 orb ping until you're outta orbs) which will result in yet another ult.
DISCLAIMER: This is only for selena with her signa wep, other characters with their sig wep will receive diff kinds of buffs
Also grind memories, Very important
the game already has tips on how to build characters with proper memories so no worries,
This is also why you'd want to grind campaign,
because you can just pick which 6 star memories you get, instead of relying on RNG.
yes this comment is long but if you read through it,
have a great experience.
Also do note that the game has 0 VA because it'll need more space (makes it unplayable for potato phones which is a reason i think its great)
It would be very nice if they could add voice acting to the game but that means more storage consumption, unless they can do what other games like FFBE WOTV did with their game where story files were auto-deleted (past stories) and can be redownloaded for reviewing (I think CRIWARE made this system) hopefully newer games can adapt to this so that storage capacity is easier to manage.

I could of played this game in Asia as other gachas I prefer but I played in NA. I followed this game long ago and I played on launch, still to this day I continue playing the game.
I LOVED THE VID!! I normally play a gacha game for a while then ditch it but.. PGR is so good.. even if I get burnt out, the game still prepares me a 10 pull after 20+ days of inactivity! AND 10 pulls doesn't completely get you junk?????? like even A rank construct shards are good!!! I've been playing to the point I'm lvl 102! I don't think my skills are 100% good so I've been trying babel and stuff (i really did mald but not as much as deep blue warzone that i've given up on)

Just started playing this past week and could not put my phone down,, The Pulao event is just chef's kiss! I played her story all in one sitting and the final boss got me wanting to play it again. Also every character seems really fun to play with and have cool backstories, like there is no real bad option which I really appreciate. And it was really easy to get into each aspect of the game with the way every piece of content was divided up. I can really see myself playing this game for the long run 👍👍👍

The only kaviat i have its that its dodging while satisfying, feel kinda clunkier than in honkai....but thats maybe a skill issue on my part lol

I felt the same about dodging at first, but the more I tried, the smoother it became for me.
Voice acting in the story is nice to have but considering it will add alot of data getting added which will make the game alot heavier, i am fine without it

i started playing yesterday, i have 3750 ticket to get a rank construct, so i pick Zero, when i pulled 10x, im sad cuz i didn't get her but the good thing is i got rosetta( S rank) she's op, idk if i use her as tank, i want to use her as my attacker, is it worth it )
You definitely want to invest resources into Rosetta, she's the best physical tank in the game and she gets a buff later on too.
Bianca Zero is a decent A rank physical attacker, I would save your black cards for the next S Rank which will be Liv Empryeus, she's a vital unit for the fire team and if you save your black cards you'll have enough for her.

looks like a honkai impact wanna be TBH...
There's deff some inspiration from Honkai but ive played both for a while and they really are different, in art style, story, character design and combat.
The game does have three annoying problems however ONE obtainable blackcards as a F2P is time consuming and painful especially if your just starting out.
The game does crash on older iOS and Mobiles often due to the RAM requirments.
and 3 consists of three problems that are linked.
A.It utilizes two seperate banners per S-rank Character which may cause confusion for anyone new it also doesn't clarify the difference between the two banners all that well.
B.Too many different banner currencies. This one I found f-king annoying honestly.I Do NOT understand why the game needs like 4 or 5 different currencies for their banners depending on rarity or if it's a weapon, when it could've just been ONE universal Currency to avoid wasting memory.
C. the only modes that allows you to obtain S Ranked Hero Shards and the 6* Card shards are tedious and frustrating at times to complete.Also there is a Finite amount of Shards you can obtain which I believe is 30 per S rank Hero.It also takes A LOT of Shards to Double SS rank a S rank hero going beyond that is punishing to yourself.
There is one more issue but it's related to programming a controller as doing so is annoyingly confusing as heck for no good reason.
Hell I still can't get mine to do what I want it too and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
B isnt really an issue if you pay attention and C is just you complaining that you can't get a bunch of s rank shards for free
Impatience is not a good quality of gacha players.

I know a lot of people want a Collab with Devil May Cry or Metal Gear but a FF7R Collab would be fire ngl, imagine Cloud as attacker, Aerith as support and Barrett as a tank. 🥵
Also Punishing Gray Raven already has a Collab with Square Enix through Nier so they have the connections.
