Articulate teaching from an articulate player. Brilliant.
I have been Maam Wittingham's admirer for years now. And I like the fact that She shares to everyone her talent in classical guitar but the most amazing is that She does not judge others. She is a very humble person given that her perfectionism is transparent. I really thank and appreciate her so much. Her techniques are something all of us can learn about. I am an admirer with very little knowledge of music but I can gladly say that Maam Alexandra Whittingham is the most talented classical guitarist in the world
Thank you ,Alexandra for showing us your warm up.🌻
Aproveitem a aula!
Sou grato! Parabéns!
To be honest being a non player this doesn't mean much but it is good to see how you produce the music we love.
Thank you for sharing this with us. Exactly what I need. Now...for me...practice, practice, practice.
Thank you so much Alexandra.
Thank you so much! Your sharing is valuable!! I'm for you!
Omg....! Im really happy to get this knowledge from you...! Después de ver como la partías en esos artísticos videos, i will learn more, thnk you!
Cold hands warm heart mums always say. Thanks for the lesson.
I love this video. I’m eager to go over it a few more times and take notes. Thank you for the free class!
Greetings from a Vietnamese Mandolinist 💕
This video is really helpful. I have bad tremors and still looking for the right way to warm-up properly. If I start warming up in some "wrong" ways it'll prevent me from practicing efficiently. So thank you so much for this!
I really like your warm-up techniques. I've been trying to find something for a while. Many thanks.
J'ai adoré ta version d'asturias et verano portegno, bien hâte de suivre ta routine tu m'inspire à jouer.
You packed a lot into a short time! If this video is played over and over and actually practiced it is extremely valuable! And for those who don't play guitar it allows some appreciation of what you do!
The videography is amazing!
Wonderful. Just what this beginner needed. Thanks.
I love the way you described how one aspect of the warm-up routine fits yourself by overcoming cold hands! 😊 And it is good instruction for all who warm-up to find our own idiosyncrasies and warm-up accordingly.
love Alexandra
Thank you for doing this.
I have just taken up classical guitar I will be 60 next year and I have found this very useful thankyou Alex.
Hiya Alexandra, Cold hands warm heart❤. Thanks very much, that was really interesting and informative. I always love your work and these latest few videos where you collaborate with Siccas and your own routines are some of my favourites. Take care and stay safe and well. David. xxx
Lovely information that will be added to my existing routine. Thank you.
love you !
Gracias teacher!!!
Thanks alexandra! I like your presentation really helpful
amazing quality of video audio and editing, ill share this to all my family and friends, simply awsome
Thank you🙏
Very helpful and detailed suggestions
Thanks Alexandra,I've been playing guitar for so long but I've never come across this right hand fingering pattern until I've watched this presentation.Muchos gracias señorita....
Great tutorial, I did a very similar warm up for my Rt hand, however your warm routine up is far more thorough than mine.
I'm starting to again work on my classical guitar playing, this is so helpful. I'm looking forward to checking out more vids.
Thank you for sharing, this has been so helpful
I love you Alexandra ❣️
Can't wait to see this :)
Nice video Alexandra, you convey musical ideas very clearly. Good job!
Thank you kindly, I appreciate you 🙏
The more I watch Alexandra the more I want to turn toward classical guitar. My fluidity of my right hand is so much better than my left so I feel the picking would be easier for me , it's the left hand stretches I would struggle with . Great tutorial Alexandra. Thank you so much for sharing your craft with us.
Best right hand lesson IMO -
Oh, that was very good. Will help a lot. Thanks!
Awesome
Hi Alessandra, thanks for these valuable tips
i love your bangs!❤❤❤
I'm just here because I enjoy hearing you play, and thought the title sounded interesting. I wasn't disappointed, and found it interesting to see the similarities between your warm-up and my son's (classical percussion). Thanks.
So nice ty!
Good information! I’m going to do about 10 reps of each right hand fingering patterns. Daily exercises for conditioning the hand. Thanks Alexandra!
Good job 👍🏻
Thanks, A.
I'm in PEI Canada, as a self taught guitar player for 20+ yrs, very hard to take lessons! LOL, this is like learning to walk again, I matched mine right hand to your PIMA warm up, thank u so much for sharing! Such a big help! Stay safe and keep playing.
YES A VERY VERY GOOD SUGGESTION AND HAS HELPED ME GREATLY IN WARMING UP, THEN PLAYING, SHE IS A FANTASTIC GUITAR PLAYER AND PERSON, TAKE CARE AND STAY WELL, Walter B,Memphis 😊✌☝️😍🤩

So cool help
Didn't know about Tonebase, thanks!
Practical breakdown of r/hand technique, essential first step.
A wall of sound is very good advise.. You make a wonderful teacher.. You really should do more instructional videos. Thanks Alexandra. And to top it off, you're a beautiful young lady and fantastic player. Perfect combo.
Thank you Alexandra! I have been following your channel for a few months now, I love your videos, they are kind of addictive! Your repertoire is still beyond my reach, but these instructive videos of yours are pure gold. That finger pattern you show at the end, to work with different accents, is the same used by Villa-Lobos in the Etude No.1, isn't it?
beautiful🥰
Very helpful:)
xin cảm ơn nhiều. thank you very much
This should be interesting.....I'm looking forward to seeing (and hearing) what you do. Thanks!
Hello Alexandra I am from Argentina ...I am you new fan ! 😃 congratulation for you perfect talent !!!

Villa-Lobos Etude #1 IS a great warm-up piece!
And also the Etude #2
Yeah and the third etude
Did you warm up before you showed us your warm-ups. I use M. Giuliani - Studies for guitar. I/GA 30. 36 pages normally takes me 25 minutes. Used to take longer. Nice work Alexandra

What a beautiful tutorial! Nice to be friend! Greetings from a Vietnamese Mandolinist 😊
You are great l love you
¡Hola Alejandra!
Me impresiona tu juventud y tu "tranquila e inteligente vitalidad".
🙃 Vida plena y parabienes ⚘
Paty Nava I guess she is using a guitar support such as e.g. an ErgoPlay. If you google for "Classical guitar support" you will find quite a lot of them.
A musician in practice' Thank you...
❤
Thank you,I am looking forward, to enjoying you're channel, in my very own mobile home,😁very soon,
Pretty guitar player 🌺
🙏
Just found you. This is excellent and you're lovely.
You so good music.😘😊☺️
Great video Alex as always. What is the piece from which u are playing the plucking pattern at 8:00?
😍❤️❤️
-From Korea -
I also have trouble with numbess and circulation difficulty. It couldn't have anything to do with holding my arms and hands in the same position for twelve hours, could it? Love your talent.
Thanks so much for sharing! Hope you are well God loves you deeply Shalom ✝️🤗🐼❤️🌹💐 Philippians 4:8
i can't grow my fingernails because i'm a professional painter, i just keep sanding them away by using sandpaper. i'll just use the meat i guess, not going to let that stop me.
HI there, towelie. I've always had very weak fingernails. And I have work and hobbies that keep them too short for guitar. Also I bite them off. So I've never used fingernails to play. I really like the tone. It's darker and warmer than with nails.
The tips of my fingers on my right hand are callused because of playing like this so often.
@@markbryant4641 yeah, true it's darker and warmer ,though each time i watch a video like this i get a little envious of that sharp tone
and those little ticky tacky percussive noises.i could try those picks that wrap around your finger but i doubt it would be the same.
By watching your video i realized that i have to make a longer warm up before playing / recording a song.
Nice tutorial Alexandera
I like so much your videos
I have a question about malagena by lucuena is a very beautiful piece that I play on the piano, I actually want to know if it's playable on guitar to
You are so smart and just incredibly beautiful! :3
