    The Fishman sure has more top-end, but I sure don't dislike the mellow character of the K&K either. But Holy Shit, dude, you've got the chops! :)

    Well I wanted to hear the pickups and found myself in a trance. I'm a straight Travis pickin/lap steel blues guy whose never really liked this style that much but, you are exeptional friend. I'm inspired and beyond impressed. I own a mobile recording outfit in LA if you ever do a show in So Cal and need tracking let me know. I'll bring all the good shit.

    I’m usually not the biggest fan of the modern tapping. This was absolutely brilliant, though. And to my ears, I prefer the fishman. BUT, it’s close. And not worth the price difference. I have K & K in several instruments and don’t plan to change.

    Dont care much about Fishman or K&K. But brother, you sure can play! It sounds so good!

    But I do now ..
    Great playing!
    And your timing is excellent!

    Amazing! Isnt theres any phase issues? I Would to like to combine the rare earth blend with the expression 2, do you think it can work without any problem? Thanks

    • @EdoMusic11
      @EdoMusic11  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Many thanks 🙂 I think it will work. 2 Separate signals shouldn`t actually be a problem...

    Beautifully played! What tuning are you using on the second tune? Partial (dadgad) capo on standard tuning?

    • @EdoMusic11
      @EdoMusic11  Před 5 lety +1

      Many thanks:)
      Tuning is DADGBE. But i used a special Capo... on the second fret only for the Strings DGB.
      Greetings Edo

    How do you mix both signals? Do you have two endpins?

    Do you think you can achieve a similar brighter sound like the fishman with a EQ on the k&k?

    • @EdoMusic11
      @EdoMusic11  Před 6 lety +2

      Yes i think so,
      although i wuould say, without any EQ - setting, the fishman wins the match,
      with some EQ - setting, the K&K will shine as well.
      I also like the bass sound more of the K&K. It sounds more warm and naturally to me.
      But the Fishman sounds clearer and more transparenzy.
      btw. My guitar is very, very bright sounding by itself...

    I don't hear a noticable difference. At least not a $200 difference. I may swap out the Fishman on my Larrivee for a K&K and sell the Fishman....

    • @bathizargupta249
      @bathizargupta249 Před 11 měsíci

      I ended up keeping the Fishman Humbucker and added a Baggs Lyric. Both are wired together and go through a stereo cable and split at the amp. Honestly, the Fishman is sufficient but I blend in a little of the Lyric for a more natural sound.

  • @monsieurd.
    @monsieurd. Před 5 lety

    I bought one and it is useless because the pickup is taking all possible noises, EMI, hum, hiss, it is unmanageable. Moreover Fishman, Inc. support told me "You can't do anything with that and I hope we have been helpful". End.

    Great playing but I have *NO* idea how these guitar pickups sound when being played. The percussive playing totally overshadowed the sound. It was great playing, of course, but made for a not-helpful demo of the pickups. 99% of people buying pickups aren't going to play that way.
