Another very safe way for mostly weapons is to go to Weeping Cove on Hurston. There’s an oil rig that has NPCs just standing there. Half of them have weapons and there is no turret, no trespassing and no other players doing bunker contracts. And it has a local inventory, so no need for box. Bunkers do have red crates and medium/heavy armour. Grab “A Call to Arms” contract. Then You just shoot some top-side NPCs with your ship. Then land small medium ship on platform, walk in and finish the rest on foot. Some will shoot back eventually but it’s ez. bring some armor and medical supplies tho. Then just loot all bodies into local inventory and then go back to ship and put weapons in ship and drop them off at Everus Harbor and go back to repeat. Note: Cutter Rambler has amazing internal storage for a small shuttle ship, more than C2.
Water = Instant Death
Two things. First, the turrets do _not_ respawn if you land that close. You have to go past the 5k mark before they reset. This doesn't mean things can't glitch, but I don't know anyone it's happened to.
Second, if you're looking to farm LMG's, The Hurston and the "clear enemies" from the new encampment areas are best. You can get 5+ per site. Second best are the "clear hostiles" or "entrenched bounty" at the cargo centers. You only get 1 or 2 per run, usually Demecos but a fair number of FS9's. But you can usually string those together with the encampment missions to just keep running things. Best thing is you don't need the boxes. At this point you can still put everything into "local" and then move it to your ship when done.

You can take a retrieve consignment mission at any planetary system, every boss has an FS-9, and killing one boss triggers the next one to spawn after a randomized short timer. Another option, every one of the new derelict settlements on Hurston and Microtech is teeming with FS-9s, and a few other types of weapons, as well as tons of grenades. There are gold loot boxes with subscriber flair skinned guns or armor, usually but not exclusively up in watchtowers.
Personally i use Cyclone-MT vehicle to destroy turrets and a cutlass black for transport. The cutlass black can be rented by the way.
I think drug could be collected in the bunker with tractor beam and put in ship to make extra profits.

Question, how long until the turrets respawn? I like parking right in front of the bunker, but I'm scared they'll pop before I come back out and blow my corsair away...
I have no idea. I just know at some point they can respawn because it has happened to me before
Easyest way is do XT Cargo to grab armor and guns but its hard lately.
